Game has no respect for player time right now

That’s quite literally a skill issue. Why do you feel entitled to running level 10??? I’m not out here complaining to Blizz because I can’t get past level 12. mythic+ eventually becomes impossible for everyone. They don’t complain about it???

I know you’re going to say “MUH GEAR,” which is SO lame, lmao

It’s weird cos shiny loot this season will just get replaced quickly by next season lol

Actually I’m not the one saying I should run +10s, but when less than 1% of the people playing can access the content, the smart money says it needs to be more accessible.

Imagine I owned a product where people paid me 9€ a month to explore as much of it as possible, and then part of that product was only visible by 1% of the people who paid for it, I would think this is bad, as it might generate complaints.

It’s not pathetic to refuse to bend to a broken system. What’s truly pathetic is defending one, knowing it’s flawed from the start, as we can all see from the rampant gatekeeping imposed by the community, boy

First of all, you get access to mythic gear earlier from +9 and +10. Second point is that you need to mention week of the season as average ilvl grows as the season goes on.

or unsub and play something else to spend your time having fun.

Its a never ending addiction cycle - “happy till the next dose”.

As stated before, “having fun” is subjective so it’s up to people to choose what game they want to play.

because thats when only upgrades above playing dvelves are.

if you play dvlves you have literlay 0 reaosn to run anything below +10 because its not provinding you any upgrades.

Nah this is completely wrong. Mythic plus inevitably scales to a level where 99% of people can’t access the content, that’s literally how m+ has always worked. The difference is that this season the progression curve has some big jumps.

As I suspect, this is clearly about wanting gear for you, which I maintain is a lame reason for playing the game

I mean coming from S4 where it was for the first time achievable as a non myth raider to get BIS or very close, it just is a different game. You can suddenly get Top 100 logs, you can just enjoy carrying friends through a lot of the content and hep them get better step by step without oo much frustration, you can enjoy pushing keys higher and higher. (and yea i say you but it´s mostly me, i give you that).
So then does this just mean the game was waay to easy back then? or does that maybe mean that the closer to bis you give to a player, the more you see anything related to a “true” skill level?
I think with “skill” being as vague and dependand on other people than yourself it is just the worst factor to be deciding who deserves what in this game.

Especially since with mog, titles and mounts there´s more than enough reward options outside of gear for players that need to feel special for their achievments.

you are doing something wrong mate, im 625+ ilevel and play a few hours a week.

Again, I think you’re lacking nuance.

It’s a combination of things that makes it work, the thrill of success, climbing the ladder and ofc gear.

I’ll admit I think gear is too important to many but thats the world we’re in.
(I once upon a time did over 240 waves in the proving grounds for lols. Thats almost 4 hours. People thought I was mad, “no reward, why!?” they screeched.) But most people aren’t me…

There are factors in Blizz’s control and those out of its control.

It’s a given that some people will leave anyway, they do what they wanna do and dip out.

But there are those that will stay unless you push them away, and I think the design decisions are pushing people away that would have otherwise stayed. Thats sub money lost as a direct result of design decisions.

I’m sure Blizz have enough data to prove or disprove what we’re speculating about.

It’s a cornerstone of MMO’s. I think its a bit lame too but you’re left with 2 options.

  1. Cater to it (to an extent), or;
  2. Try to bend the world to your way of seeing things.

On balance, 1) sounds more reasonable.

You’re a really really good player, and an equally bad troll. You’re the 0.1%

This is true, however it usually did so after the last rewards were unlocked, key difference.

Honestly this thread is starting to tire me, good luck guys I hope s2 is more fun.

ofc you are - after all you raid mythic .

kinda proving the point that there is no m+ playign without pushing mythic raid this season

beautiful example

Season 4 is considered a meme free for all season where everyone gets their BIS. Like I said, I legit don’t care about how anything relates to gear. I only care about mitigating RNG as it can kill progress.

My issue is that people are out here whining about progression as it relates to gear.

I have plenty of criticism of the current season, the progression curve has too many big jumps, this weeks affix is badly designed, penalizing people for dying leads to people leaving doable keys, the level 12 difficulty jump should be removed. None of my criticism is about feeling entitled to the best gear in the game.

thats because majority of players play solely for gear.

if that gear progression is cut - they have no reason to play .

all those people will just unsub - after all - lets not pretend portals are enticing reward to waste hundreds of hours - in a world when a lot of people already have 3 out of 8 aviable this season

Brb race changing! I wanna be elitist as well!

There is a difference between “cut” and “not freely given”. They are just waking up from S4 halluconisis where BIS gear was even hiding under your bed. Withdrawal hurts…

Blizzard will be the people that kill WoW, I just never expected it to be minutes after the release of a new expansion.

Do they actually remember who wow was for?

For those people who think WoW is for the people who are MDI, RWF, etc remember that wow’s most popular time was when it was it’s easiest.

Like it or not, if the game wants to do well, it needs to be accessible.
