Game has no respect for player time right now

Ofc. Thats what m+ is. Dungeon running. I still remember my BFA spyglass farm = 90 runs haha(yeah some folks have probs more. Mage had around 65 waycrest runs for the trinket).

Got a family, work in a medical field with night shifts. So no. I am not some “no lifer who spends his time at WOW at Mommy’s basement”.
Also yes. As I mentioned before. The -15 sec affix is just :poop: no matter how you look at it.

Well thats the thing. The progression path is still there but the difference is now in time.
Either its a progression - lets not forget that season will go for 6 months? or something like that or its a quick dopamine loot pinnata, like Lilith who is screaming out of his lungs that the “game is DeAD” because he couldnt do 3x +10 vault options on week 1 of the season.

When Blizzard nerf it and every noob is charging around in Mythic gear you should post a video here of the exact moment your heart breaks.

Top 1% is already at 2660 rating which is equivalent of 4-5 keys timed at +11 and 3-4 at +10. And it’s only 3rd week of the season when people have 620+ ilvl on average - 20 (!!!) ilvl below cap.

So +10 will never be only for top 1%.

I dont mind the gear itself. And after 2 months, everyone will be be at 630+ anyway. I am more curious about Lilith and others screaming that they can’t get their myth peaces on week 2 and act like Blizzard is cutting off their oxygen supply. :rofl:

not saying that, but would you not enjoy it more if you had the option to do some “chill” content just to keep the gearing going or do sth really challenging?
Right now from my view there´s no choice if you want to progress you need to throw yourself over the 10 hurdle, which is not “chill” by a longshot.

So what´s the point then of having the 11+ progression?

That´s the whole crux for me. It should be fine if a normal player playing each week hits BIS gear after 2, at most 3 months. Because then they can either

-quit for the saison. Not ideal, but there´s other games and stuff out there. So I think that is fine as is
-actually feel motivated to do the challenging progression on 11+ and improve
-play some alts, which i thought was one of the main goals this expansion

Well eventually it will even out as people who got Mythic loot in week 1 will start seeing duplicates in The Vault and crying about “RNG”.

I’m not even seriously doing m+ until they nerf +10 to the point I can tan tons of eggnog and still time it.

Still doing +5-+6s with guildies. They get gear, I get crests. :rofl:

Well thats thats the thing. We got Lilith screaming out of his lungs that he cant attempt(vault RNG) getting his bis +10 vault on week 2 already(he complained before already)
Its now now now for him pretty much.

Like in previous expansions and seasons:
first time entering an m10(15/20) = lets just try to survive it…somehow.
After a month = anyone wants to quickly run 8x for weekly chore?

nobody would care if there was an option to get myth track gear in m+ besides once a week in the vault.

if you start collecting myth track gear after lets say 3 month, well you probably never be geared.
you are now already indefinitly behind and will fall even further behind every week you cannot do a +10

That’s what happens when you think it will be a good idea doing M+ rework extending gear progression so people will subscribe longer, and at the same time making the dungs way harder, meta aspect to be more impactful, and people instead of playing longer they burn out way quicker. Before M+ was a great system to gear up for Mythic raid and clear the bosses. Right now it’s way harder to complete +10 for vault with pugs, and it’s a only way to get the Mythic item for M+ players.
I think we will see faster decline in guilds activity on bosses. S3 and S4 of DF was great, and the M+ rework was totally unnecessary, and it hurted the game imo. People think they can do +8 or 10+ straight away without gear and skill/experience, because Blizz taught them doing +15-24. And you could see it already in S4, but now a lot of people came back to the game so it’s even worse.

Make it easier to access weekly mythic items, and let people who want to sweat do it for something else like cosmetics… I like to sweat either, but I can’t right now, because I’m not being invited for the keys. Waiting 30-80min in the city is not fun, and we all are playing the games FOR FUN. I could push my key also, but if I try, my keys are depleted due to mistake of one guy > wipe, key is not timed, or even worse someone leaves > come back to the miserable queue.

and those who are not in +10 yet will most liekly never hit the m+10 even after 3 months of progress - because with each day they fall further and further behind gear curve with massive spikes with each week not collecting mythic gear from GV .

anyone smart will figure out quickly that its just not worth the hassle.

me ? i dont care about that - i already opted out from m+ at this point after whati have seen happening week 1. a break from m+ after 4 years of very heavy spamming them each season will only do me good. especialy in world where dvelves exist - getting my dopamine shots there :slight_smile:

problem is for people who do care about m+ - their experience will be incredible frustration and huge gate making it impossible for them to progress.

Only those who only whine on forums instead of playing the game. 619 is way enough to clear +9 and 626 is way enough to clear +10 for average Joe.

Apart from no-one is taking them, and not everyone has friends to run with.

I’m reminded of the meme about requiring curve to join a group that’ll get you curve, a few years back.

Bring your own key or …

… join the guild / community and do some networking. You don’t necessarily need to develop such relationships to the level where you send christmas gifts to each other.

I am in both a guild and a mythic plus community, so far that hasn’t helped as most people like in this thread, have given up trying to deal with the 15sec death affix making every key 10x more punishing than it needs to be.

So they stick to 6s and 7s.

You did. It was YOUR choice. Other people didn’t give up, they learnt and overcame it.

Their choice.

Do what you want. You don’t need to announce your departure; just leave. I am not disagreeing with your point, but what was the desired outcome?

You dint offer a solution to your problem, so we can assume that you had no intention of appealing for a fix. You just complained.

How would you like Blizzard to address your issue and would it benefit the majority of players?

I have provided 3 fixes through the 280 posts of thread, perhaps you didn’t see them as admittedly, I wouldn’t of read all of it if I came in now either.

  1. Balance difficulty so that delves and +7s are similar in challenge as they offer similar loot
  2. Leave everything as it is, but remove the 15sec death affix
  3. Actually make some sort of effort to balance classes such that the meta isn’t the only way to do well.
