Loading screen takes much longer (I’m talking minutes) FPS drops are more dramatic and common place.
This has all been since launch, and it seems to be a fairly common problem. And yes, to those that will inevitably reply with “works fine for me” yes I’m delighted for you, but that isn’t helpful. Some of us are really struggling.
I now have zero fps in most fights or when I’m in Valdrakken. You’d think I was playing on a calculator from 2001 but I’m not. All through Warlords, Legion, right up to Dragonflight’s launch the game was fine.
Now it’s unplayable and absolutely pathetic.
What the hell is going on?
Update: had to alt F4 out of a pug raid because my FPS was 0 and I couldn’t move, after spending ages trying to log back in and repeatedly disconnected, I got back in to find my Revival Catalyst quest that was on 90% seems to have been dropped and I have to pick it up again.
So many bugs, glitches and performance issues. Absolutely pathetic.
I’ve noticed several graphical bugs (and reported them accordingly), popping up.
Like for example: Last boss in Exiles Reach - big black box when he does a certain spell.
The FPS drops and such are an issue too, I am just uncertain how many of them are due to addons right now (personally).
Addons are in a weird place since the UI revamp…
Hope the actual confirmed bugs get ironed out tho.
I did log in a few weeks back with no addons just to try this. It wasn’t fantastic, I don’t really think it was any better than with addons loaded. But it’s hard to tell now - as the performance gets worse with each reset.
Yeah admittedly I still play with an HDD, but I’ve been running with graphics on Ultra for years, then suddenly I can’t even handle the game on graphics level 2, surely it can’t just be down to this?
Loading screens are a disease and particularly the world boss quest in the primalist future shows how unprofessional open world raid tool is designed. Game just bugged two times in a row while entering a group and the only time the screen stopped freezing was when I died. This is absolutely ridiculous.
I was wondering lately if there was an issue with my SSD or something, because the loading screens really last for quite long.
It reassures me to see that I’m not the only one having these issues.
In fact, my SSD is working totally fine most likely and it’s just the game that is poorly optimized overall.
I do have an nvidia, I haven’t downloaded any of the updates though. Someone recommended I reset it about a month ago and that helped marginally for a few days, then it got worse all over again sadly.
yepp…i thought i was crazy untill i launched some other games and those run instantly…wow loading screen for 1 zone takes up longer to launch total war warhammer 2 roflmao
