Update your addons or get a better pc.
Check the max FPS slider in the graphics settings, that caused it for me on the PTR when I as looking at the new UI last week.

12900k, rtx 3080 for me and its unplayable. walking around goldshire and stormwind it hangs every few seconds.

You probably have some broken addon or your drivers are out of date. No stuttering at all for me.
Check your settings.

Disable all addons and check step by step which one is causing it.

i have a i7 4790k 4.8 ghz 8 core,asus rog gtx 1080 ti,asus rog maximus hero 7,16 gb ram gskill ,ssd,its more than enought to run it,but has you can see people with newer pcs having same issue…
this pc rock solid for 8 years runs anything maxed at 1080p/60 fps fixed 0 stutters constant 16 ms.
its the streaming assets/textures that needs fixing clearly.
i dont use addons.

My fps have doubled. Some areas its at 280. But it makes big jumps all the time down to 120 and up again.
I barely feel any stutter but i wish it to be more stable like it was yesterday. But then again its a prepatch and its not the first time i experience this. Hopefully it will smooth out soon.

Actually yes. I wiped everything earlier this morning. Still ran like crap.

Try disabling vsync and use driver-based adaptive vsync or such.
But as a first step simply disable vsync, remove any framerate cap, and see whether it still runs badly. If yes, explore whether there is addon slowdown.
the game yesterday was fine,today is not,so its not my pc its the patch.
i dont use addons.
this happens mostly when log in game stutter everytime it load a character in town,and whenever any character is loaded,it stutters the game for 1 sec.
game is having hard time loading stuff,yesterday was fine.

Did you update your drivers? GForce has an update 12.10.2022. There isn’t any problem for me either. Just… addons are no more available.
