I understand that at launch we will expect server queues and so forth, if the game was a one off purchase no problem. BUT we pay for game time to play the game but being unable to due to queues, I know people will argue well join an empty server but players want to join their friends get immersed into a character they started.
I hardly doubt a blue will read this or think this is a good idea, but alot of people have been very patient waiting and wasted their hard earned money on game time they can’t put to full use. I do think everyone should recieve a few days free gametime, something like 5 days as a goodwill gesture.

That would, indeed, be nice of Blizzard to do but they are not really obliged to since you pay for a sub to BFA and having Classic access is just a bonus. You can log into the BFA servers without any issues so they are providing the service you have signed up for.

Blizzard: Pick a server that’s not full if you don’t want queues.
Stupid people: NO.
Stupid people get 10k queues
Stupid people: REFUNDS!

Ehm, no no no no no.
Started on the server gehannas when the server was empty but soon found out that the server was overpopulated. Then i moved to Migrain to avoid queues, next day full, endless queues. Then i moved to Dreadmist first week it was fine. Now @ primetime we will get around 1k queues.
So your comments are stupid and ignorend yourself. When Blizz will allow free caracter migrations… i think we will get worst queuetimes.

Blizzard: Pick new server that we open today
Players: Oke
Next day: welcome to your new 10k queues…
Oh wow big queues mate, you should get a refund for waiting a whole hour. Thats unacceptable, who could possibly wait a whole hour? My god the horror.
Eh, was i talking about getting a refund? I was commenting on the stupid post blaming the players.

But players who rolled on servers like Dreadmist did the right thing?
Que times are acceptable here, but i fear for the worst.
Well on private servers 60% of players quit before 40. Dunno how much of that is because it’s a private server though.
I’d still worry a bit about how big it will be in phase 2, but queues is temporary.
For example, my server Razorgore is probably only getting transfers because the population on Bloodfang is so low. We’d probably have no queues 2 weeks from now.
Nice stats, care to share your sources?
Other than that, free caracter transfers is for now the right solution. Lets see how this evolves.
Is pretty old news, pretty sure even Blizzard devs acknowledged it about Nost in their dev interview on Blizzcon 2018 with Esfand etc…
Do you doubt that most players quit private servers? lol, I mean there was over a million accounts made on Nost.
You are missing the point, some people pay for a sub soley for classic, you are paying for a service that is not provided. You could role 3 times on different servers and over the course of a few days each are full with hours of queue times.
How about the players who can only play a few hours a day and cannont because for arguement sake the 3 hours a day they have to play they are stuck for half of that in a queue. You are paying to sit there and do nothing related to the game, if you are happy to do that well why not give them your money and not play at all.
So no its not the stupid people demanding a refund, its the people paying for a service that is not provided and asking for some goodwill to have the full use of the game and the servers they wish to play on and therefore use their subscription for its intended purpose.
That may be their intention but contract wise they pay for BFA. And BFA servers have no queue whatsoever. So service is provided.
Wanna bet that even if they did do that as a nice symbolic/goodwill gesture, the retail crowd would get mad?
Even if retail gets yearly scheduled free game time, I think they’d still be upset.
Wouldn’t everybody have to get a free week? Not sure they would be able to figure out who only played Classic, or more specifically who had issues logging in.
OK where do you want your 0.89$ cents ? paypal or cc

That’s what I was thinking. On one hand, you can approach this with the thought of “Psh, I don’t wanna give out free game time to people I don’t need to”, so you’d figure out who played classic and you’d give those people days.
On the other, you could just not care about giving out free game time… but reality shows that Blizz doesn’t often think like that unless there’s a promotional reason behind it.
Truth be told, giving 5 free days to everyone with an active sub in <.this period> would be great and an easy quick please-all solution. But it just seemed like a non-starter to me.

Yeah I personally don’t think the launch was bad enough to be given anything. I thought it was overall an amazing launch
