Ganking low level players

I already know some typical answer will be reffering to the fact of me beeing on a PVP Server.

Still the nature of the Server does not change nor influence the attitude of the player, or atleast shouldn’t.

As a mage still on the leveling process, i decided to level up more by AOE grinding then doing Quests, it is indeed a personal choice, and like most of the mages i meet, i went to AOE grinding.

This has its learning curve, and at the beginning it is not easy, there are a lot of thing to get used to. Still i did go for it.
There i was, on duskwood, on STV, on Tanaris, and on most of the spots where i AOE farmed, and some already level 60 hordes just showed up and kill me. What is the pleasure of riding your already epic mount to me, cast a spell or 1-2 shoting me? I can’t understand, but i can accept it, 1 time… meh … i can see why you did it, you just rushed to me, and wanted to show off your hardworked and hard to get gear, with your shadowbolts, or your epic daggers. Well… I am happy you get all that gear, and I want to be able to reach that level of gear sometime in the future, the problem is… i can’t level up if you keep farming me, like i want to farm those mobs. You do exactly what i do, I kill, and i wait for my targets to show again ( called respawn), but on this case, i am your prey, and there is absolutly nothing i cannot do about it. I mean, I dont have the Time to be as fast as you were leveling, probably werent even alone during your leveling process. Once again congratz to you, because you are already level 60 and even got your epic mount.

Now i am level 52, and still happening. If you, as a level 60 rogue, have the guts to showoff and try to backstab me, or to engage in combat while i am making my combat with mobs, then have the courage to face a level 52 AOE specced mage in a 1v1 combat, i dont care if i lose, but at least have some dignity. What pleasure gives it to you by achiving that? Do you feel more powerfull in life by just facing low level, low geared players? It is even challenging? Well, back in the day, this was done by 14-year old kids ( most of the times)… but now those kids are now 28-29, and still didnt grow a thing.

But lets say you engage in combat with a low level player, have the courage to do it solo, on a 1v1, dont hope on getting a same-faction friend to help and unbalanced the already anbalanced duel, because I dont do it, and never interfere with duels when i see one 1v1 between Horde and Alliance, even with party members…

So go on, enjoy your evenning, and enjoy your well sleepy nights, thinking you are wasting your’s and someone else’s time by ganking, and spawn farming an other player.

We all want to level up, and we all have goals in-game.

Who aoes in world now >.<,

Just go aoe in dungeon, more efficient and faster.

Even when it comes for gold, ZF farming at max level is still the best way to make gold, even better than the devilsaur.

I am glad, those people exist. I need and excuse to gank them later. My KoS list is rapidly growing.

well, about accepting it, i kinda have no choice.
About the forum, yes, this is somehow a complain, but not at all a cry out. Just to know if those kind of players also have the guts to come here and answer :wink:

Personall choice, fun ( if not ganked and camped) and more chance of loot, including cloth and some BOEs

You are right there, but this can/will make a chain reaction to players doing the same somewhere in the future…

No mage should even care about gold when leveling, you make enough gold to buy a lvl 40 mount by farming sm aoe run, at 42 you go to zf until 52 and then you go to brd until 60.

You can farm 1000 gold in one day farming ZF at max level for your epic mount by just selling trash items to vendors and without using auction house.

There is not one single reason they do it, in no particular order.

They consider the “if it’s red it’s dead” rule to apply
They like inconveniencing people.
They get bored of killing mobs.
Someone did it to them so they are doing it to others.
They like killing a certain race, for instance Gnomes.

I’m sure there are other reasons.

PvP realms allow ganking to the extreme.

And nothing should even change either. PvE servers exist for a reason…as do PvP servers.

OP, sorry to say, but people are crap.

Whenever you have to deal with people, don’t expect nice things.

Wow world pvp is one of those things where it’s better to think they will actually kill you, because there are no repercussions. It’s best if you have a higher level pal and outsmart them, they think they gank you but they’re the ones getting ganked.

Provoking a response from higher level players.
Not exactly an efficient method of getting some solid PvP action, but heard that one a lot.

Also, clearing out areas for quests/farming. Either for themselves or lowbie friends.

This is honorless alliance, they would never attack you if they are alone or haven’t group/high level player nearby.
There are only two things you can do: 1 - Ask someone to help with revenge and re-kill them as long as possible; 2- Kill every enemy that you can see, especially ugly gnomes and dwarves. Don’t think about their levelling and don’t compare their sufferings with yours. Just remember, they haven’t moral and mercy, they won’t stop. Don’t trust them and kill, eat their corpses and repeat. They are like stupid angry mobs, don’t think about them like about intelligent creatures.

Also, nobody cares about your goals. Every people in the whole world worry only about themselves.

I do honor those sweet ?? hordies that steal my herbs by sapping me. They deserve the herbs and they make me smile.
They dont have the need to kill me, they know that they can.

As a solo late-ish levelling warrior I was ganked relatively often.

I actually don’t remember the single name of a person who ganked me. I’ve forgotten already every person.

I thought about using an addon to list their names but I just don’t care enough.
