Just wanted to let you all know that its so nice to play on a PvE server.
I can go afk while flying and be fully alive and safe when I land again.
It’s so nice to farm some gold without being ganked by a squadron of rogues.
And moving to raids and instances is so nice and chill. Don’t have to be ganked so many times that the res timer kicks inn before I manage to enter the raid/instance.
And the top of it all, its so fun to read all the posts about people being ganked, you all could play on a PvE server, and just do some bgs if you’d want to PvP.
1v1 is so unbalanced when it comes to PvP anyways. But group PvP balance is a whole different story
Ganking is and always was ok on a pvp server its very very rare thst its one on one though. If your good on your class and you start owning a ganker you can bet your life another ususlly a high lvl comes along and kills you.
It´s because they´re being completelely delusional by constantly trying to paint others as the root cause for their entirely self inflicted misery. They´re only trolling themselves, and that is entirely worth every bit of ridicule and grabbing a bag of

Becauase that´s exactly what it is… “I signed up for an anarchy simulator, but I didn´t expect anarchy! U Suck, Blizzard!!”
It´s primarily because people don´t know how /flat out refuse to use a search function and /or somehow believe that their special snowflake way of saying the exact same thing as a dozen other snowflakes before them is somehow more important… In the end it´s just one more way that they´re hard trolling themselves IMO.
Because even when the criticisms are valid (obviously not the case here), all they do is dilute them from one thread with a hundred replies to 5 threads with 20 replies each from the same 5 people, so that even the companies that do read their forums just laugh at them for thinking that parroting themselves makes their criticism stick.

We know what we signed up for when we made our characters on a pvp server, this is a game where 2 factions are constantly at war with each other, the idea is to be a victim of the conflict or be the one causing havoc
It’s never nice to get the short end of the stick, but the encounters in the open world either break you (which seems to be your case and many others) or temper you to be more strategic when it comes to your gameplay in general and it always makes you feel a higher sense of urgency to learn how to pvp with your class, which is a positive if you care about performance in pvp
You can laugh at those who joined the pvp server thinking it would be Retail Warmode with a coat of paint, making endless threads about their unfortune, how their PvE sections get disrupted by pvp on a pvp server, but the rest of us knew exactly how things would go down and we’re having fun with the way things turned out, every day there’s a new threat right around the corner and it’s up to us to handle it
I played the first classic on a PvP server, and I can’t imagine what it’s like now with all the RMT geared sweatlord Andy’s around.
I’d only roll PvP server if I could be in an active guild. Solo experience must be miserable, unless you are rolling one of the holy trinity classes (Warrior/Mage/Rogue, + honorable mention to hunters)
TLDR: my pve server is empty af and boring so I am posting something mildly related to my frustration to make it look like I prefer my world experience
it really seems like it, otherwise they wouldn’t bother writting about it so much, nor they would claim to “enjoy other people’s suffering about a topic that doesn’t affect me”

Its systemic destruction of a server by idiot grps of ppl being stupid.
Look if it carries on a few thousand ppl will reroll pve and the server will die.
That or blizz will start handing out punishment bc their servers are being destroyed by ppl with no brains, or at least not brains enough to realise the potential knock on effect.
Id love to see those tools who gatekeep the boats and fp get upto a 2mnth ban with no appeal chance i guarntee you mate if that happened itd stop within a day or so of it being enforced.
Maybe a ban waves needed to cap it out.
Ppl dont pay a sub to have the p**s taken out of them.
Ganking is one thing but whats going on is well beyond what the tos cover.
Its outright abuse of the pvp rules of engagement and its being done to maximise disruption to ppl who may just wish to lvl up. Being jumped once in a while is one thing but at every boat and fp thats taking the mickey out of the rules.
It feels like a cabal of disruption has taken over the anniversary server and brought ruin upon those who play there.
There is no way anyone can honestly say its remotely fair play for ppl in large grps to behave this way, its exploiting a hole in the tos for pvp servers.
There has to be a reckoning at some point.
Ive seen the vids online of how bad it is and thank god i decided no to classic pvp.
I dont even play that server but i feel so sorry for every poor slub in there in that situation.
