Its like who cares if you have a boyfriend or girlfriend when discussing mundane things, the only time I would drop that in is if it was relevant to the conversation, or if I was deliberately talking to a friend and trying to subtly go “Oh by the way I am in a relationship now” after a period of not being so, so as a conversational lever to go "Yes, you are my friend and I have just dropped a hint that my relationship status has changed, this is a cue for you to go “Ohoh, you have a partner now? Thats news!” Because that is news, friends like to know things about their friends, you wouldn’t throw it in at a job interview or in work transactions or anything.

That is an awesome song though, the vastly Straight Command team of our Faction chose it at staff party karaoke in homage to our gay 2iC who was stepping down from the position, he was in stitches laughing at us cavorting around.

(Also I actually recommend the video, because Jenny is wonderful and the book is hilarious to laugh at because it has zero-self awareness, much like the people it’s trying to cater too.)
