Well I think we were talking about full on gbid runs, not just for a few items. I’d say it’s completely fine to put a few specific items on gbid and take the gold. For a full gbid loot table however, a split is fair and expected.
You said that you dont want green geared people, but these people are actually SPENDING GOLD on every item, you know? How much is your best total pot from MC/ZG?

But to answer your question.
For the 2 IDOLS in ZG the average sell amount is 200g each, so 400g.
In MC the only things I put on GBID are Bindings, Ingots and the Eye of Sulfuras. Since Bindings and Eye did never drop so far its pretty much 250g if an Ingot drops at all.
Didnt know this was the case, since OP was talking about GBID in general and didnt specify full gbid runs.

I was trying to express disbelief that anyone would join such a system and that the mind that says I am worth the pugs money is what I call player entitlement. It is like ready player one, like the guy in Pug BG’s Who gets RL randomly and then proceeds to scream at people because he’s RL and blames and flames people with /RW

Well there’s a difference to only put the Idols on gbid or everything else, just look at the chat in our server, 9 out of 10 gbid runs read like :
“LFM ZG Hakkar / Jindo / Warblade / Mount / IDOL GBID, rest ms > os, 50 gold top healer 50g top dps”
That was my first and last GBID run because on this server GBID clearly doesn’t work as intended but I’m still wondering why so many people accept this and keep joining those groups.
The people who join the raid also need to sit on a city waiting for the group to fill, just like you. They also have to prepare with consums and wbuffs, just like you. Yea you have to answer whispers and create the group, but that should be what it takes to reserve the item you’re going there for, not to claim every single item that drops is yours and thus if someone wants it he haves to pay you. At the end of the day, i guess on shazz its okay to go full retard. Id rather be full blue gear than full retard like this poor souls

Im still not selling all items. I dont force anyone to bring consumes and/or WBuffs since theyre not needed for ZG/MC. Nor are they forced to sit and wait, they can logg on an alt or watch a tv show meanwhile. Also Im not reserving Items for myself.
Because if you have the gold, you’ll get the item. While just rolling with others is still a gamble. Thats what I imagine is the greatest incentive

If you buy Gold you are just stupid and deserves to get banned. If you are a mage and grind ur gold i dont see a problem in spending It in gbid. You worked for IT you deserved IT:).

Only crappers would accept to run a gdkp run when they would receive no gold at the end of the run… that was the whole point of running them, to get good geared people something out of it.
