Gear up an alt / Items bind when picked up

Hello , well i made an alt and i wanted to get some blue gear for him. So i decided to do some solo dungeons with my 40 warlock and drop some blue items but when i picked them they automatically bind to me so i cant send them to my for 14 warrior. So how i can i do it? I need to be in a group with a friend and change the drop to master loot?
If someone knows a way i would appreciate it. Thank you.

Yes, you need to have another account or a friend to do that. Or, like many others, get a group for the dungeon and do it as intended.

I’d recommend getting a [Skinning Knife] and enchanting it with +30 Spell Power. You can trade it and sell it all you want and it’s a bis for any caster up until lvl 60 without enchanting another weapon

Genius!!!

It’s a neat trick and spending 250g on it isn’t bad at all during any DPS caster pre-bis phase since it easily beats Witchblade 14sp + Winter’s Might +7sp + some int which is otherwise the common budget solution before you get your raid weapon

EDIT: Oh and you can do the same trick with Skinning Knife + Fiery Weapon for melee classes as the enchant does baseline flat 40 damage which means breezing through your first 15 levels and doesn’t even cost that much

I think it’s fantastic. Love little things like this.

Thanks. So the only way its to be in a group and change to master loot… So you can secure all the blue items.

First of all your alt needs to be in the group, in the dungeon when the drop happens and also in range of the mob that dies.

Master loot is only so no one else takes the loot you want. As someone mentioned if you want to run dungeons with your main to gear your alt with boe items then you need two accounts and to have your alt on the second account doing the dungeon with your main.

Awesome min/maxing tip mate.

Agreed about the melee weapon I always keep fiery on all weapons I pick up as melee while leveling since it only costs around 10g but also it doesn’t resist all that much against higher level mobs so it’s quite helpful when your doing next to no damage from glancing blows.
