Almost every topic in the General Discussion is of a similar theme and mantra; Retail good, Classic bad.
We get it, you dislike Classic, yet instead of just playing BFA and accepting the fact that people like different things than you, youâre here on the forums⌠wonder why that is.
If you guys honestly didnât care about Classic and think Retail is superior, then why are there continuously topics about how bad Classic is? if you really enjoyed retail WoW you wouldnât be here trying to waver peopleâs opinions, so what it actually proves is your bitterness AKA salty attitudes.
Also, to those of you whoâre SO bitter and stubborn that you wonât even try Classic to at least level 40 because youâve âbeen there, done thatâ Classic and Vanilla are actually different games with the same philosophy, believe it or not.
I wouldnât be surprised if the real reason youâre avoiding Classic is because you know how itâll convert you and pull you away from your precious achievements and vanity items and mounts in BFA, as well as you possibly hating yourself over the thought of even enjoying Classic after youâve spent so long debating and arguing back and forth with people about how bad Classic is.
Donât worry classic fans got their share of salt too. People love the âus vs themâ mentality, so they end up doing it at classic vs retail topics as well. They come to forums and go all: Those guys on the other side are the worst.
Not everyone here cares about this classic vs retail some of us just play what we like (i play both!) and dont complain about it. The forums has been a show after classic was released with every other topic being about classic vs retail. Just play what u like instead of going all salty on the forums because someone else is enjoying another version of the game
Prio to the announcement of classic and the introduction of the classic forum; there was a new âretail sucks gief vanillaâ thread every other day.
Perhaps some players bought into the hype and believed Classic to be this almighty godsend of a game and found only outdated disappointment? People are allowed to vent frustration and disappointment; the Classic crowd have done for over a decade and now itâs the modern game crowdâs turn.
Also; these forums have always been a salt mine. Do you know what Vanillaâs general forums were back in the day too? A salt mine; some of the old threads were archived so you can even see them for yourself, if my word alone isnât enough for you.
Youâre turning this around buddy.
Itâs the Classic players that keep poking at current WoW and its playerbase.
Of course âweâ get defensive then.
Itâs easier to post on forums than to play while at work. Also weâre at a point where people take a break from playing until next patch. Some like to complain for the sake of it, and some people just like to write on forums.
Ah yeah. Classic for example has racist servers, rush to 60 mentality, dead servers you can transfer to, undertuned raids and dungeons, a mage fotm problem, horrible economy because of layering, a lot of bug abusers, and queue times.
Would be nice if people praising classic would stop bashing retail as if their beloved WoW version wasnât a mix of exactly the same partly horrible player attitude and Blizzard f**ing up a lot of things.
