The first quest requires 25 primordial saronites and a drop from 2 bosses. You can just buy those.
The next quest requires you to kill 1k mobs, just join rep farm runs; easy game.
Next 3 quests are specific boss encounters; pay for a boost.
Then farm 40 shadowfrost shards: buy those in GDKPs.
Your stupidity knows no bounds.

When I tried to play classic, people told me on discord that there is no way I can raid without buying gold from shady 3rd party sites as a newcomer without a lot of time. I thought it wasn’t worth my time/money and I quit immediately at level 70 on this char despite being a little annoyed to have wasted money on heroic edition. Thankfully this led me to fall in love with the modern version despite it feeling dead. I think having shady 3rd party sites doing it, and it being seen as a requirement to play is 100000x times worse imo than it being on the official store. However, I still think it’s stupid that I am expected to pay to even participate in raids, so I won’t start again anyway.

I started WoW in 2008, had done progression raiding for the better part of 3 expansions and never had more than 20k gold in my bag until I could use it to buy game time.
Gold sellers create gold out of thin air, inject it into the economy and cause inflation.
The token does the same, but for every token sold, one is bought and the gold is deleted.
And then people say it destroys the economy.
