Get your Skullflame Shield today

Get your Skullflame Shield today, it’s like 500g…

…but when all Horde rerolling Paladins in TBC it will be worth 5000g

almost a year in the future …

I can predict stuff 2 years into the future if you want to…

The game is 20 years old, and had several re-releases now. You SHOULD know what’s gonna happen and plan accordingly.

I could be wrong about the price, with this inflation and how much players tend to multiply their wealth in TBC. The shield could go for 15000 gold…

Yeah, but I won’t plan today for a year or more in the future. I want to enjoy now. I might even not play any more in a year, and then I wasted time I could have spent having fun on grinding for future pixel-money.

Put another way, I place fun now way above G in the future when playing.

haven you threatened to unsubscribe like a thousand times

i think we all know that you aren’t leaving bro

do yourself a favour and invest in some skullflame shields :joy:

If u thought it would go for 15000g - why would you sell it for 500g?

No, I raid Era once per week. I bought two skull flame shields, one for myself and one to sell for my future epic flying skill+mount.

If you call

  • leaving when Cata launched, returning for Hardcore.
  • unsubbing because of the new Guild UI and resubbing when this was remedied
  • and now unsubbing over revives in HC

then yes, I have “threatened” to do so. Unlucky for you I always have a six months sub, as that is the cheapest, and my sub was very recently renewed when the revives were announced, I think I have 4½ months left now.

I am not playing Anniversary until / unless Blizz solemnly swear to make HC TBC servers AND Era servers. So far I just sit on my names on the Anniversary HC server

right right right.

I might be wrong, but as i remeber, it was aroung 800 gold in TBC

you advertising people who got it now in their bank to keep it in their bank till TBC

why would they sell it now that you said it’s better to keep itin the bank for later?

:medal_sports:

Exactly.

Would it make more sense if I follow the EGO-YouTube community and make yet-another-gold-guide and tell everyone what will increase in price and not? Would that give me more authority?

I have 2 shields. I don’t need more. I don’t care. I just want to give everyone that wanna play paladin in TBC a chance to get this shield. I give you guys the future…today.

Can you explain what’s so special about that shield in TBC?

It does small fire damage reflect on any mob that hits you. Which gets boosted by SP on your gear and heals you via whatever prot pala talent does that. It is very good for Stratholme one pull farm in TBC prepatch.
It gets replaced by Petrified Lichen Guard from Sporeggar rep once you hit 70, and then just regular mitigation gear by T5. There was a craze for it in Classic TBC prepatch because every pala and their dog wanted to try the one pull Strat undead gold printing machine.

Would be way more meaningful to just buy one and save it for your own upcoming Pally alt

There’s a saying “During a gold rush, sell shovels”. So probably it makes sense to stack on that Shield.

That said, I’m not sure how many potentially profitable items are already stacked by the knowledgeable people. For example there’s agility food winter fish. So it seems that it makes sense to stack it for summer sell, but its price hints that plenty of people stacked it and this strategy hardly works.

I might very well be the odd one out here, but I’m npt going to stack up on anything to sell.

  1. I’m not even playing Anniversary, and woln’t until i know for certain theat the servers won’t progress to Cata without Era servers.
  2. I do not play to collect G, I play to have fun, whoích for me is not same as having in-game money (I never have).

I have fished and stacked loads of Winter Squid in Era - for a Rogue in my faily, I’d nover fish 'em just to sit on and sell during the summer … I do not tick that way at all.

yes its called being impulsive we know
