Currently I’m a rogue with 610 ilvl and 1750 M+ score. I’m getting declined in 4,5 and 6+ when I try to join, more than 95% of the time and I’m not even joking. Getting accepted 5% of the time means I’ll get an invite one time in 25 Sign Ups and I DON’T, I get a lot less than that. I’ve spent 1 hours sending sign ups and got none. I usually spend at least 30-40 min before finding a group and half of the time when I do, people leave and we can’t finish it. That’s usually an hour and a half of my time with absolutely no rewards at the end. And that happens to me half of the time. Not just now in 4,5,6+…but since the start of M+.
As many of the core, returning and paying WoW players, I’m in my 30s. I have just a few hours to spend in WoW a day, sometimes I have to skip. Weekends are the only time when I can play more and I’ve spend the last 12 hours of my day, trying to play M+ and finished just 4 today. Earlier I spent 3 hours…trying to form groups that took too long and people left (no matter if I was the leader or somebody else). 3 hours. And then finally we entered, the tank was…weird and we died 10 times on the first trash group and people left and I returned to looking for people again. So even when I spend my WHOLE DAY in WoW, I have a veeeery hard time playing the game, because I’m getting declined or can’t find people. This is INSANE. I’m a 610 ilvl player, trying to join a 5+ that drops 603 ilvl items that I DON’T EVEN NEED…and I’m getting declined, because what?! Cuz I’m a rogue, or because people have higher ilvls? Most of the time people that are declining me have lower M+ Score…so what the actual…stuff.
“they made delves for people like you” yeah and…delves got me to 595 ilvl then it all stopped. What now? Cancel my subscription or wait for the Great Vault so I can POSSIBLY get 4 items a month if I’m lucky, but we all know that ain’t happening, I’ll get probably just 2 items that I need…for a month. Is this my choice? Or join a raiding guild? I can’t join a raiding guild, cuz I don’t know which nights I can and can’t play. They have fixed time and day for raiding, I’m not 16 anymore, I can’t do this schedule thing. So…delves to 595 ilvl, then cancel sub? If I continue to spend my free time after work, trying to JOIN an M+ group and HOPEFULLY complete 1 m+ a day…I’ll cancel my subscription of course, that’s insanity. I don’t mind spending my free time in WoW and paying for the game, but when I’m spending my whole night getting declined or people leaving and I maybe complete 1 or maybe 0…what else am I going to do? That’s not PLAYING the game, I’m sending 20 sign ups a minute, and get declined. I want to play the game and progress, but the community is telling me “nope, ya ain’t playing with us tonight, sorry, we need higher ilvl and score, even tho most of us are lower ilvl and score than you. oh and we actually want the top performing classes, not you”
What’s my proposal? Well, make LFM+, but make it so only people that have completed a 4++ Necrotic Wake (for example) can join 5+ NW and THAT’S IT. You will be 99% sure that the person you’re matched with, KNOWS what to do. Make m0 have no requirement and m2 has a m0 req, that’s it. A person that had 0 Ara Kara declined me today…he had 0, he had never done it before. And people cherry pick the best classes right now and the biggest ilvl and scores. This HAS to be addressed. Leave the premade groups for whoever wants it, but make a LFM+ so the millions of people like me can progress even a little bit every day.
