Getting Kicked for Everything: The Harsh Reality of WoW Classic Cataclysm Dungeons

Yeah but yeah.
If you get kicked from half of all dungeons you go to, you are doing something wrong. It’s that simple.
Since Cata came out I’ve been kicked a total of like 2-3 times and I’ve done dungeons in the hundreds.
If your rate of being kicked is truly that high, you’re doing something wrong or you go in there in 346 gear expecting people to carry your alt through the hardest dungeon content available.

Most of the times I guess that would be seen on your details, if your dps is always too low, then don’t ask why you get kicked

generally yes, on that specific add it’s not, we barely killed the add with 70k total dps, i just did a sim on a 353+ fury war in full pve gear: 18.5K, in this blizzardian fine tuning people are expected to surpass the simulations?
they should account for at least one 10k dps player and two others who are just decent, that’s the random heroic reality not the simulations.

weekends are the worst, it’s best to cap wednesday in my experience, but as i was saying about the carrot, I’ll get there when i get there, it’s not like i can’t enjoy the game with 385+s :stuck_out_tongue:

whose fault is that? you should be expecting to carry in a group of randoms, blizzard sets the min ilvl it’s not their fault, the are at fault only when they don’t know tactics

mate you keep beinging this 70k but you clearly werent hardfocusing that 70k on that add.

we all know what you did - you burned all cds and likely lust on pull and were “empty” on add - gg you can burst - only not on correct target

but big numbers go brr - and then mechanic kills you because you were not doing it

we didn’t had bl, i can’t say about their cds, but not half a second was lost during the adds stage, we immediately started dpsing and i did too as healer, the thing is the cds should not matter when you have 2 380ish and 1 360ish dps, the dungeon is supposed to be pleb doable at 353 ilvl

i dont knwo what to tell you - i did that dungeons earlier today in this version and we had lower dps then your 70k - and we 1 shot it (granted was close but we managed )

you failed because people didint dps hard enough - its not rocket scrience - should have gone again

this time if you blow cds on pull then save bl for first add and then have 2 min cds up for 2nd if you dont have enough dps to just kill them .

just give it time for community to gear up then people will be facerolling it even with people doing mediocre dps

the community already outgears that dungeon, it has the same ilvl requirement as infernos, and yet all the groups I’ve been in so far -except one- wiped, i’m waiting for healer/tank as i type, one clown died after doing 50k on the ghoul :man_facepalming:

why dont you just que random ones instead ? you coudl have compelteted another dungeon in that time

efficiency

people specific queue it for fragments so i get it daily when doing randoms. but then again with my luck, i had Deadmines pop up 4 different days, 6 times in a row (and left 6 times in a row )

Today I got kicked cos the other hunter paid the tank to VK me so he could get to be sole roller on the polearm. So I get to wait another day to queue for this dungeon. This is the problem when 100 frags take a long time to farm and you can shortcut it by corrupt behaviour. It invites bad behaviour. Twi dungs are so bad now I only do guild runs.

Please can Blizzard actually do something about this. As it seems there is a particular realm or two that is hosting these toxic players who are ruining a big part of the new Hour of twilight patch. It is dreadful joining a LFG dungeon as once you are the only player from your own realm you are almost immediately kicked. Please give us the option of selecting which realms we can join up with or remove the 30min dungeon deserter buff from people who are kicked, as 9/10 times now a-days people are being kicked for absolutely no reason.

I have quit this game for reasons in this post, I put a thread up in the wrong forums and just found today how to move it, but I should have looked harder to find this post to reply to instead, so going to repost here:

Post 1: This was on my druid as I geared!

How is this fair, I joined a random LFG group, Random Elemental Rune Protocol Twilight (I have been doing these all day to gear up after using the boost to 85, currently at 377 iLevel) without any issue, there is hardly any comms and I have joined groups that wipe multiple times, but eventually we get through it.

I have not once been kicked from any group. However, the last one, I joined mid way through, I guess the last healer either left, or like me go kicked. I couldnt have been in for more then 2 mins at most, and I randomly got ported back to org. I was a bit confused and then I saw the deserter debuff and in the chat it said you have been removed from the group.

So after doing nothing wrong (I think I got to cast maybe 3 healing spells) I am sat here with a deserter debuff for half an hour. So now I have to wait half an hour before I can Q up again.

How is that fair? There was no conversation, no messages in chat. Maybe they just didnt like a druid healer? But this is not fair when you can get kicked for no reason and then receive a punishment for half an hour.

Post 2: This is on my Firemage and the final straw which was boosted, but I geared it up a bit more before joining higher groups:

ok, so I am pretty sick of this now. I have been playing on my mage (dont get kicked on the druid as thats a healer) but playing on my fire mage.

I have now been kicked a total of 5 times. This is on the Elemental Rune dungeons. I get that my gear is not ilevel whatever everyone with raid gear is expecting, but I am usually 2/3 on the DPS as I gear up, I am fully gemmed and enchanted even tho my gear is not “The best”, My ilevel is 380 so far.

But each time I get kicked, its a 30 min debuff, so this makes it impossible to gear up and play for fun, thats 2.5 hours of debuff and the kicks happen within a few mins of starting.

There is no comms, nothing untoward going on. Just you have been kicked and a debuff.

At this point ive had enough and going to quit, its not fun to play like this, so over and out from me unless this system changes. I am going back to Classic Vanilla.

For this last kick, its because I was left behind on the lift, so they didnt want to wait for me to catch up and just kicked me from the group. No other reason then that. For some reason the lift didnt pick me up and everyone else was in front. That is it!

Play tank and you never get kicked.

Not true, I have been in groups and seen the tank kicked for not having enchants, taking too much damage, being new and not knowing the instance and being slow

it’s insane how many warrior tanks have 0 uptime on shield block, but it’s a valid reason, too bad they will never know tho because they can’t see the reason they got kicked  (not by me) it’s the same type of fail as when a resto druid is not using one of his hot’s
i have kicked tanks for being, you know the type, and i enjoyed it.

Best thing to do is wait for pre patch and start gearing again when MOP arrives.

So. One could even argue that those are valid reasons to be kicked. Not having enchants? Why? They are so cheap and easy to come by. Taking too much damage? Poor gear and poor enchants?
“Being new and not knowing the instance and being slow” - Why do you immediately queue into twilights? Queue normal heroic to get to know the dungeons?

Sounds to me like you put quite a strain on your group there.

This actually happened: I was in stonecore, Gurthalak dropped, tank ninja’d it even though he already had it, i asked him if i could have it, he told me to frick (Uncensored) off and die because i was leeching, he said when he started doing Twilight dungeons he at least brought 20K dps, even though the last fight showed me on my recount i did 25K dps with an IL 346 weapon.

And that was the moment i knew, time to quit. I dont want to become one of these people, i think this is the end result, becoming THE WORST. Not worth it.

I’ve been playing on and off for 20 years, the one time i ninja’d an item i was a noob doing my first deadmines run.
do i feel some people do not worth the gear? yeap, many people are not even worthy of an internet connection, will i press need so they won’t get it? nope
if you wanna quit then quit, but, it’s in you or it’s not, the end result is carpal tunnel or something

I went to a normal Blackrock Caverns.

After the 3rd boss the healer wanted to turn in the quest (because Blizz is such a good gaming company they could not fix the pop-up quests since release), he teleports back, tank blindly goes forward, pull next boss, we wipe, then they start to accuse the healer for slacking, dc, etc, and then vote kick him (I voted against, but it wasn’t enough).

Then I went viral in party chat, that how moronic they are, he said he was going for the quest, etc, then I was kicked too. I wisped one of them, sayin in anger and frustration that this behaviour that kills the game, (and asked to tell the others), and his response was something like he doesn’t care.

This behaviour, that presented by the OP too, is a real problem, and it’s destroying the game.
