Give casuals a chance - Siege of Boralus

But why ruin the fun of Everyone because of the lack of skills of other’s?

What? Your statement makes no sense whatsoever.

Honestly, You just do not get it.

You’re currently grinding luck, and arguing against grinding Progress / Skill / Development, cause you dislike Grinding.
It’s just… stupid, tbh.

I rather grind for X time knowing I will get something, than “grind” something and never know if I will get it.

Took me about 7 years on 27 toons a week to get Invincible mount, that’s RNG grinding for you.
Took me a month or two to get Netherdragon Mount, that’s progress grinding for you.
Know which one I was most proud and happy with? - Hint - It’s one that isn’t a horse.

Also adding; I can’t provide you proof as it happened during Legion, so sorry I can’t back up my “It can happen” fact with my friends old progress.
You’re right tho, that TOTALLY disproves the entire ordeal with luck not being a bad thing and can have MAJOR impact on the outcome for everyone… 100%… yep…

I’m done here, good luck arguing this.

  • Edit nr 2;
HAH! Funny thing. I just inspected your toon (It’s quite an ordeal nowadays, idk why)…
You’re grand proof yourself of why Titanforging is a bad thing
You said it yourself - You don’t like “Hard content”… and yet here you are, strutting around in 390 ilvl pieces.
Jolly good time to be alive, free gear for anyone who pulls the one-armed-bandit but has no clue how to do hard content.

Really interesting to read how people consider mythic0 to be a “locked content” just because it requires applying to a group manually, rather than joining via an automated system. What makes it so different? To queue for a heroic specific dungeon requires you to click group finder > select specific dungeon > join queue. To apply for m0 it requires to click group finder > dungeons > find the one you want > apply. The experience is exactly the same. No one talks, everyone just does their thing, loots the corpses, leaves. The idea that m0 is some sort of big bad wolf because people are “toxic” is so beyond me it’s unreal. I met more toxic people in random heroics than m0. I did around 80 m0’s this expansion alone entirely with pugs and actually haven’t met a single toxic person. The conversations don’t go beyond “hi” and “thanks bye”.
If you queue through an automated system, what makes it so different that suddenly it’s an ok thing? People can still be toxic, can still kick you for being slow or whatever. Really don’t get this tbh.

the main issue with them its a waste of time for them, they don’t accept that someone somewhere don’t want to play with them.

one of the main issue with toxicity its the cross realm.
the idea its great, the problem is the randomness of the thing, the toxicity rise up when you are with stranger because most of the time you won’t see them again.

if we look before that , when somone done something bad for everyone is name was marked on a black list on the server by the server community, now we won’t see gim again.

The thing is, both of these ex-mythic only dungeons were locked. Not by the mythic0 requirement but the attunement quests for them. However, the complaints aren’t for the actual locking mechanic but for the mythic only mode. It felt more like a lock than the actual lock to some people.

I could write an essay as to why, but I’ll refrain this time. For now, it’s sufficient to say that no matter if m0 is a lock or not, it felt like it was. This is not a failure on the part of the people who felt that m0 is a lock. It’s a failure of the game design.

Yes but people say if mythic0 was allowed to be queued for via an automated system, then it’s ok. But because you need to apply for it manually, then it’s not ok. So that tells me that the difficulty is not an issue here, it’s the fact that you can’t queue for it automatically.

Mate althou i agree with you i used to be a medicore player and have completed the most content in Legion but coming to BFA i have become casual player myself cause just got burned out of it all the toxic community and the lack of people being human beings and actually help you out along the way not to boost you but point you in the right direction and people dont even want to do that cause they are Elitist douchebags of people but the point is.I had no problem with Mythic 0 to do even thou i am a casual now i made my own group and we completed it cause i wanted to see the Ending of the storyline.

i’m too now a casual, and m0 are nothing if you know what to do the basic thing. don’t stand in fire, cc,interrupt, normal thing’s people should do.

It’s not the same because premade groups can choose who they invite and often refuse certain classes, or put OP gear restrictions. Asking for ilvl 360 for a M0 is just silly.

For m0, class and gear restrictions? Please :joy:

Ridiculous. This game already dumped to oblivion how easy it became.

I think if you find this game too hard, then try easier games.

I know, it’s pathetic, but it definitely happens. A lot!

No it doesn’t, go open a group finder tool and show me a group for m0 that has 360 ilvl requirement. If you don’t get invited, it’s because these groups invite every person who signed up first, so most likely there were people faster than you.

I’m at work right now, my man, but this definitely happened to me when I tried to do M0 siege. There’s no point in me making stuff up!

m0 are a joke , people asking rediculus ilvl are the one who want to be carried and everything given to them.

I don’t find it hard to believe you at all actually. Even in wrath, some people were asking for t9 gear to do t7 bosses. I’m sure I’m not the only one who remembers “5k gearscore for patchwerk” groups.

I don’t want to write another wall of text, but unless blizzard finds a way to connect people playing at different ends of the curve again, these problems won’t go away.

pretty simple they should stop spoon feeding people with gear they don’t deserve. remove wf/tf.

and bring back a real progression.

I agree that raiding scene is different, people asking ridiculous stuff for normal raids is true. But not m0.
