it was hard at the start and freeloot in the end, so overall it was no challenge to get anyways. Its just people calling people snowflakes or elitist only because they went out of their way getting these skins even for a class they would never attempt playing.
I cant have any sympathy for people who “insult” people who have gotten those things in such a way. So why would any of us care about it?
Its not our fault people didnt get the skin, its either their fault for not attempting it or simply not playing back then. Calling us snowflakes gets you zero sympathy and therefore nothing but hate.
Not talking about you, but people like the poster above me. I could not care less about people like those crying for a decade not getting what they want if thats their attitude.

I signed my mortgage deal 4 years ago, so my interest is higher then when I would sign te same deal now… Tough luck, life sucks.

Dude i love you, i’ve been saying that way before shadowlands,
i couldn’t play legion due to real life stuff, and would love if they added a maw one in the tower of the damned, because i did all 8 twisting layers and will never step back into it, no reason to.
Druid has always been my fav class but the forms are so bad imo and no way to get a version of werebear.

I’ll never forget missing the bus ride home that one time. 
I had to wait 20 minutes for the next one to arrive. Who knows what I could have done in those 20 minutes. Maybe would have gotten the werebear…
Big NO, because its impossble to ensure skill needed to get it in that time… because in past mad skills was required to get it
They cant simply hand you a bear, to get it they need to create something which only few players will complete, but when doing so why they cant just create brand new nice rewards.

You are speaking about ware bear form, to people who whined before 1 moonth how they cant complete thorgast 8/8, in one hand you guys are demanding mega hard content to get this ware bear, in other hand you asking for game nerfs… those two not go together, if you didnt whined im pretty surre blizzard will be able to do some intresting rewards for doing thorgast challenge mode, but community destroyed thorgast and now want prestige rewards… its not way to go sorry.
Can understand players wanting certain ‘unobtainable’ items, wouldn’t mind them myself… but I agree that they should remain unobtainable for those who didn’t get them originally, it does really belittle the efforts of those who did get them at the time. It’s also nice to see some things stay rare, it adds to them remaining special. An Aston Martin DB9 is a beautiful car but they would be nothing special if everybody could have one.
Fine then plea to blizzard to make ultra hard Thorgast challenge mode which only minority can do, and to reward you with maw-styled ware-bear upon compeltion.

It wasn’t, maybe at the start, but no where near the level your making it out to be.

I think that’s the detail that is purposely ignored and i’m not sure why that is.
Scaling for the Mage Tower did start off as extremely difficult yes, but it was not wholly impossible or ‘locked off’ at all. In fact, having a few of the weapon appearances of my own, I remember at one point a fresh max-level Legion char could easily do them with just a few hours of gearing with Legion’s catch-up mechanic.

Pretty much this.
Things need to be kept exclusive so people have a reason to play the game now instead of getting it later when the acquisition has been made easier.
With that said, they should definitely add other skins that uses the same skeleton as the current werebear skin (since it’s so extremely unique and “game changing”).

Isn’t the reason for playing the game… is to have fun while playing it?
Can you imagine somebody just coming back after it is easy to get gear from prev expansions, get the mogs and leave again?
By the way I agree with you 100%. Let the skin be exclusive, and the skeleton a barber shop option.
Pity that on some classes there isnt mog even close as good and unique as these mage tower stuff.
