Almost all my friends play on Firemaw, there is no particular desire to lvling again.

I thought you could. I was sure I moved a character from Pyrewood Village to Firemaw. The single faction thing on PvP realms still counts though.

Edit: I just tried again with another character on Era and I got all the way to the payment screen on a pyrewood Village to Firemaw transfer, paid of course.

You can already now move from PvE to PvP in Classic Era. This has been possible since SOM transfers (finally) was implemented.

I have an odd feeling the OP is talking about free transfers.
