Give Void Elves High Elf Hair OR Astral Void Hair

Dear World of Warcraft,

Your fans have been asking for High elves on the Alliance for 14 years. This is not a rant. We thank you for giving us High elf character models and skins through Void elves.

However, Void elves are very niche and limited in their theme. The Void is blue and dark, and that’s a bit boring. That does not mean that Void elves should just be blue and purple. While we now have bright skin colours, our hair have been left as they were on release. Therefore, we suggest adding high elven hair to us, OR Void Astral hair, which must include at least a White hair color.

Moreover, Alleria, our leader, has blonde hair. There are also Blood elves and High elves training alongside Void elves in Telogrus, unchanged by the Void. No additional lore is required to provide us with those features.

As a devoted WoW player of 13 years, and a girl with a sensitive taste for aesthetics, on behalf of our Community of both High elf and Void elf fans, I request and implore you to act upon your word of giving more customization to Allied Races in later patches. 9.1 is one of those later patches, and I now call you to act upon that promise and grant some more customization to Allied Races. Do not neglect us in the midst of fixing gameplay issues.

We acknowledge that you are busy and you stated that additional customization will be an ongoing, ever developing project. And that is exactly why we are requesting additional customization, because this should be an ongoing development where races are not left stale for too long. Additional features should be added little by little, patch by patch, to keep players interested and engaged. This means that we should not have to wait for years for a few hairstyles and hair colours. Even if you only give us a few of them we’ll be more than happy.

Our propositions are, in order of priority:

Hair colours: Plain White, Astral Void White, Void Blonde, Black. PS: The plain white and black can be added to fix the high elf requests, in case more time is needed to work with the others. The Astral White will be White with navy blue and purple shiny stars on it. The Void Blonde will have x2 navy blue shiny highlights on it, or the bottom of the hair will shine with a navy blue, shiny shade like the wings of the Starcursed Voidseeker.

Hair styles: Females: x1 Long, straight with side braid. X1 loose braid resting at back. Males: x1 long straight with side braid. X1 short with side bang (like Sett in LoL).

They really need some natural hair colours. Alleria’s tattoos and voidy blue tattoos in general will really fit too.

Yes please, that would allow a LOT more potential rather than being forced into a purple transmog! :smiley:

Indeed, navy blue hair on a Fire mage for example would probably not look that fitting :joy:

You might want to add a ponytail to the list for Female Quel’dorei. Otherwise you are entirely correct and I throw my weight behind this.

This really needed another thread, for sure. All other threads about it were already gathering dust for less 24h. Got to make a new one :roll_eyes:

Blizzard give void elves void customization options, new colours for the hair void effect like dark void purple, void eyes, saturated hair colours (the ones we have are pretty boring), body deformities. Make void elves voidy :slightly_smiling_face:

We are already voidy xD we have like 3 blue shades, 2 purples, and some grandma greys lol. I wouldn’t mind a blonde with 2 dark navy blue highlights on it to indicate corruption. The highlights effect is not common in hair colours so it will make it quite unique. Oh and colours for tentacles like pink and black

True, void elves need more purple/black hair styles.
Blonde belongs to high elves / blood elves, not void elves :slight_smile:

We need our nightborne models though, not scuffed night elf models :slight_smile:

I hear you but some other races need a lot more work before more Void or Blood elf customisations are considered.

I know those elves are very popular and i hope you get what you ask for but id like to see more races other than elves running around with some cool appearance options first to maybe tempt people to play them instead.

As much as I’d love this, I hope we get more Voidish stuff alongide the stuff you mentioned above. It would make more sense. But +1 from me.

Why should Blood elves have a monopoly on hair colours? They already got an icy blue hair colour which is similar to a Void elf’s. It is only fair that we get at least 1 blonde and 1 white hair colour, especially since other races have these colours as well. Draenei, Kul’tirans, Dwarves, DID, LFD etc have white and blonde options.

Because you’re void elves, not blood elves/ high elves :slight_smile:
Otherwise, you might as well have been given high elves - not void elves :man_shrugging:

Though i support the addition of High Elf customization wholeheartedly, the Void is not just blue and dark, i’ve seen it manifest in white purple, pink, violet, red, burgundy and even orange colors like N’zoth eyes, i want these as hair and eye colors for Void Elves too.

Honestly natural hair colors shouldn’t ever a prob for any race. Hair dye exists and anyone should be able to use any color they want honestly. But I want the high elf options kept as ‘‘minority’’ since we are void elves after all. Same with blood elves, let them have high elf options but keep them as ‘‘minority’’.

Why other Blood Elf players act as they are entitled to dictate what customization Void Elves should get?

Alliance players telling Blizzard not to give Blood Elves blue eyes and hair were pretty annoying weren’t they? I feel the same way about Blood Elf players acting that way towards Void Elves.
