What, like the retcon made for Pandaria and all that?
Depends how far back you go because originally the lore went that they were from another planet and that was what was known of them in Vanilla from the one that summoned them to our world.
Humans in WoW could have snouts, if Blizzard wanted them to. Curious, isn’t it? Just like they can make panda people.
Except for the original concept art.

I don’t see a thread of yours asking for removal of tails though, nor are you going into every thread regarding to Pandaren saying this.
Tons of playable classes contradict lore, weird. No threads on that either.
There’s also a reason why the only thing people can come up with against tails is because ‘nuh uh lore says no tails!’ but then the same thing could be said about just about anything else including Tauren Paladins and more right up until they made it so.
