There was a bug which “denied” you the reward, even though you had it. Talking mainly about WoD here, not MoP. Same thing has happened to a lot of people. Even though they had bought BOTH enchants, across multiple characters and classes, they later lost access to it once the Legion prepatch hit.
Blizzard tried to implement a band-aid fix, thus enabling people who didn’t originally earn these things to now obtain them, while people who originally had them were still left out.
I also got it in mop, and never got it on wardrobe.
I have friends who made tickets when the wardrobe feature came out and they got theyre glorious tyranny enchants added. Some other didnt. It basically depended on the GM that talked to u, if he was nice to take the effort to do it or not, which is lame.
I made several tickets, i didnt get lucky with finding the right GM. Kappa.
Each GM i talked to, told me a different version, they had no clue. One even told me once i didnt even got the enchant back in the day (cuz “he checked”) and i had to explain to him the one i got was the healer version which had a different name but same apearance (Bloody Dancing Steel -DPS- / Spirit of Conquest -Healer-).
You know things are messed up when u have to be the one explaining things to GMs…
Still got nothing.

Yeah we didn’t forget to buy anything dude, we all had it on our weapons, and we still have it on our old weapons and heirlooms right now… they just decided not to add it to our wardrobe unless we achieved duelist, the requirement was 2200 not duelist, this is the problem!

I do have the weapon enchants (bloody dancing steel and glor. tyranny) on several weapons in my inventory but cant use them as an illusion. I reached the duelist cutoff several times but i left the teams because i wanted 2 help my friends.
I also played the last month of WoD (after nearly a 2 year break) and facerolled my way up 2 duelist (2,2kish) with turbo, wich was busted af.
Now i do have the primal victory illusion and i havent reached 2,4k (what was the requirment for it) - do i have 2 understand that?

It sucks that some GMs would grant and not others.
Has anyone else tried contacting a GM about this recently? Mine gets a copy + paste generic answer, but i’ve heard of people getting good GMs every now and then…
If ppl can like this, bump it, i’ve seen Holinka respond to people reporting RBG issues etc. just need to get it up on his feed…
US players also bump this if you’re reading!

Bump - i’ve once again made a ticket on this issue. I earned this enchant fair and square in 2s, 3s and 5s in MoP on 2 different warriors who both have the enchant from season 15 and the elite set, yet they decided the requirement should be duelist, which noone knew at the time. Nope thats not fair Blizzard, alot of people including myself stopped at 2.2 cause the goal was the enchant and then had fun afterwards in 3s

I dont think the ones that got the enchant in MoP should get it, because it was an enchant. If you got 2,4+ in WoD, then its unlocked for you, i think even if it looks the same its 2 differnt things, because bloody dancing steel/jade spirit in MoP, only req 2,2+.
If this goes through it will keep going… I mean if you had the enchant in MoP i dont think you deserve the illusion. But if you had 2,4+ in WoD, i dont mind players getting it, because i think you can buy it still if you had duelist in WoD.
I will try and see if the enchant is unlocked for me at the vendor, pretty sure you can still buy it, or then its only the primal victory one, but only if you unlocked it in WoD.
But then i would like alot of old elite sets too, because i earned the achivement back then, or some other guy want some other cosmetics, because he earned them… We can go on and on… and it wont stop.
You’re completely missing the point - the requirement to have the enchant was 2.2, which alot of players aimed for and then stopped, having no incentive to camp rating. But instead of making the requirement having reached 2.2 at the time of the enchant, they changed the requirement to duelist - giving people who earned it a big punch in the face.
The fact that they made a 2.4 enchant looking similar to bloodied dancing steel is none of my concern, i didnt play then and it shouldnt affect the reward i earned during MoP
The way they made the requirement duelist means that some people got it at 2100 when duelist cut was 2065 that season ( which fun fact i missed by 10 rating cause i helped friends try to reach it and dropped rating )
The problem is, that you can’t set a requirement at a specific place, and then change the requirement later screwing over the people who thought they were home safe

The enchant from MoP, should not be an illusion? If you wanted the illusion, you should have played in WoD. If you got the enchant from MoP then whats the problem?
This is 2 differnt things, MoP enchants you needed 2.2 or duelist, but these are enchants, not illusions.
WoD illusions you had to get 2,4+ its 2 differnt things, and should just stay like that.
You cant, i had it both mop/wod, yet they dont care about it, they did a horrible fix and only way to make them acctualy solve the problem is by not giving up, and keep pushing them to acctualy correct it, so we that achieved it can get it back.

[sighhh]
The problem is that people who originally earned the enchant (be it during MoP, or WoD, or BOTH) later lost access to it for no real reason or explanation, while people who were not eligible to get it in BOTH MoP and WoD later got acquisition rights to the enchant!
Is it clear now?

Blizzard allready did something and gave it back so its fine how ist is and just accept it. Its gone…
I don’t know how blizzard coding works but I assume the enchants have an item ID which is applied to a weapon to make it proc.
Why not add a vendor offering this buyable for any item with this enchants ID but making the item permanently destroyed it would only have to do 1 check for the intellect, agility or weapon chain enchant. I’m sure this is possible in 2020.

Hey Glenn, good suggestion.
I agree something to validate the use/purchase of the illusion would be VERY simple to implement.
It’s low hanging fruit for Blizzard, and would only serve to benefit the community. I am holding out for some action on this and trying to gain traction through twitter etc.
