Issue with this statement is that they backpaddled through Wrath with their opinion about it. Meta achievements and their drakes were kept for all content after Naxxramas.
But let’s be honest, why are we trying to gatekeep something that will keep people engaged in the content? The #nochanges falls flat when they buffed instances and made them harder than they originally were.
I have both drakes and I don’t care whether they keep it in.

Absolutely hilarious that you come and comment you have both on a character that also does not have a deathless encounter run, yet having logs for every week of Naxx - so I highly doubt you do. Nevertheless it isn’t hard, but to come and blatantly lie that mounts were not removed when they were and that you have them on Classic too is hilarious.

I would also prefer that too. It makes them more engaging, and I supported it not being changed, but it already has been and it won’t be changed back. Making achievements more challenging, engaging and something to aim for was an integral part of Wotlk. It’s too late for that now, unfortunately.

I really hope they remove the drakes (but leave the achievements). It’s not about “skill” but about being there when the reward is avaliable.
For example I never managed to get the armored netherwing drake from the arena and I will never be able to get one because the game has moved to next chapter. Proto drakes from P1 raiding meta achievements are exactly the same. If you were there and you managed to do stuff you get one.
Why is no one crying about removing arena drakes?
The 2 current drakes gets removed, noone are debating that with you, but Blizzard regret that they did that so the rewards AFTER did not get removed when new content went out. Read what they are writing to you…
