This a mage perspective. So these are the examples given.
The option is simple.
the effect of Flurry is welcomed in many ways as frost.
I would love to see Frost get back to it’s roots.
here’s an idea!
Make Glyphs fun again. Visually & situationals.
“Glyph of FrostFireBolt” turns flurry visually into FrostFireBolt
“Glyph of Deep Freeze” turns Snowdrift into Deep Freeze
That way u can also have a use for Snowdrift as I see it much more of a use in rated or random battlegrounds (: and arena mages can have Deep Freeze (:
This is by all means win win!
I think it is cool to both have visual effects & Useful situationals for glyphs.
I see Snowdrift have a place at Rated BG or Arena but nowhere in arena.
I see Deep Freeze having a much better choice in Arena.
Snowdrift does cast time, AoE Stun, not dispellable.
Deep Freeze instant, single target, dispellable.
I cant help but say this, alot of people will miss classic version of their class especially with the release of ur classic servers. Glyphs could be a great way of reuniting players with “old school familiar looking spells” some visually change & other change for situationals.
People will most likely have very good ideas of their own class to write here (:
u r more than welcome (:
This will count as a seperate ability not a Glyph, but I would like Burst of Speed to return to the game, at least for PvE. It had been removed a few years ago, because some people had complained that they couldn’t kite Rogues in PvP, while they don’t look at their own classes which have stronger abilities: like Paladins who had 3 bubbles (I think that was nerfed and reduced to 2 bubble abilities though), and instant full heal ability on CD (Lay on Hands) which they still have, etc.
Also they could bring back option for old Classic ability sounds while they are at it, since those old Classic ability sounds already exist in re-released version WoW Classic, but the problem is Blizzard doesn’t really listen to feedback even if they may state that they do.
Yes, because I agreed with your idea. Only the difference is that I’m suggesting a return of a removed ability, which was useful for farming old content, it was a movement speed ability with a short cooldown like 3 seconds. It was unnecessary to remove it from the game, they could at least keep it in game for PvE. Just like how PvP talents can only be used in PvP.
Well, I see your point, but that was a baseline ability. So if they decide to add it back to the game. It should be a baseline ability again, not a talent tree option. They should just disable it for PvP, like how some things in the game are disabled in Arenas/PvP or the fact that Tier Set bonuses, Azerite items etc. are disabled in Mage Tower Challenge, instead of being removed. There is a code to disable certain ability/items in PvP.
Sure we are saying the same thing.
in the post I linked u before it is litterally the same thing we’re kind of saying.
we’re just having a diffrent PoV.
I use mage spells as an example & try to connect the dots with a new talent method (: if u comment the same comment, ur original comment on this site I will quote it to top post, cus that being another example of how it could be done (:
