I am hunter myself, killed Gordok few times but I find those runs full of stress.
But some people spend 10h/day there… I understand gold and everything but back then in 2004 there was NO Youtube and Twitch, now EVERY hunter does it… MASSIVELY.
I am fine with Gordok Run myself, it’s fun experience for hunters… other classes should have something like that as well. Rogues can mine in Un’Goro… Warlock soloing Maraudon, DM East etc…
But problem is that Hunters kill Gordok in 15-20 mins and get like avg 3 Major Mnaa Pots and 3 Major Healing Pots… so that’s let’s say 10/10 hour x 5 hours = 50/50 per day… INSANE!!!
Who’d have thought bringing back content which people have had 12 years to perfect the theorycraft for, and who’ve propagated those strategies across the world, would have resulted in a completely different experience than the first time…
If people are willing to spend 10 hours on end farming potions, it’s their right to do so.
You’re not willing to farm like this, so you’re the one affected.
If prices on these potions have lowered drastically, over time those solo runs won’t be worth their time anymore, but for now it seems they’re willing to do it an entire day so things aren’t as dire as you make it out to be.
As i’ve said before: fire prots sitting at 12g each.
Alchemists can do more than mana pots.
