Gordok Tribute Runs have ruined Alchemy

Hunters massively spamming Gordok Tribute Runs which in return reward with a lot of Major Mana Potions and Major Healing Potions.

They can do solo runs so imagine getting 50+ Major Mana Potions in a day just from Farming Gordok.

Major Mana Potion price on Shazzrah is 1g and 80 silver (Horde).

It’s beyond pathetic.

Can sign that, prices went down since more hunters are soloing DMN.

Meanwhile fire prot potions sitting at 12g a pop.
Alchemy dead :frowning:

I am hunter myself, killed Gordok few times but I find those runs full of stress.

But some people spend 10h/day there… I understand gold and everything but back then in 2004 there was NO Youtube and Twitch, now EVERY hunter does it… MASSIVELY.

They should just fix boss/mob pathing so it can’t be soloed and that’s it but I think Blizzard has more important stuff to do.

Or just nerf the loot…

Remove Potions etc…

I am fine with Gordok Run myself, it’s fun experience for hunters… other classes should have something like that as well. Rogues can mine in Un’Goro… Warlock soloing Maraudon, DM East etc…

But problem is that Hunters kill Gordok in 15-20 mins and get like avg 3 Major Mnaa Pots and 3 Major Healing Pots… so that’s let’s say 10/10 hour x 5 hours = 50/50 per day… INSANE!!!

Only Potions are problem here I think.

Who’d have thought bringing back content which people have had 12 years to perfect the theorycraft for, and who’ve propagated those strategies across the world, would have resulted in a completely different experience than the first time…

Nerfing the loot will affect everyone, fixing pathing will only affect those who try to trivialize the content.

If people are willing to spend 10 hours on end farming potions, it’s their right to do so.
You’re not willing to farm like this, so you’re the one affected.
If prices on these potions have lowered drastically, over time those solo runs won’t be worth their time anymore, but for now it seems they’re willing to do it an entire day so things aren’t as dire as you make it out to be.

As i’ve said before: fire prots sitting at 12g each.
Alchemists can do more than mana pots.

I’m too lazy. So every hunter except myself does it, apparently.
