I could care less about ‘events’ as ‘champion of the horde’ ya know, about a prelude to an event that has no… ya know,… cconnection to the actual SL intro questline, where as BFA’s pre patch event, actually had…
So long as there is a way to reasonably avoid the event if you want to (ie leave the cities) then it is fine. But asking for the event to disappear for you, because you don’t want to partake, is ridiculous and kills the entire authenticity of the event.
What part of ya know, I get killed on alts at level 30- in other locations outside orgrim do you not understand by npc zombies that spawned there?
Is it? Is Nathanos the only place someone can go other than the city? I believe there are over 10,000 or more other locations you could go to, other than those two, which will have no infection.
The fact it spreads beyond the city on occasion is not argument against leaving the city being a safeguard when 99% of zones beyond the city have no infection, just because you’re focused on the 1% that happens to be.
See my latest comment. That it spreads to some places beyond the city does not disqualify the fact that thevast majority of locations beyond the city are safe.
That’s akin to saying that telling people to stay on the pavement is nonsense safety advice against getting run over because this one time a car went onto the pavement. It doesn’t change the fact in 99% of cases it is solid advice.
Yes I agree, yet if I want to kill Nathanos, it kind of, you know, needs me to be at Nathanos…
Radical thinking I know, but think hard, you will get there.
Funny how the argument’s made are ‘oh its a time limited event’ yet when I want to go to Nathanos (a time limited event nonetheless) I get told, go somewhere else.
The problem is the pvp flagged. Not that whatever chars attack me. I never complained about legion invasions too But when i get auto flagged for pvp, i get attacked by players, or characters used by players. something i actively opted OUT for.
So you would be perfectly fine if they were only ghouls npcs all over cities but because a player could be behind it its not okay ? NPC’s would also grief you , there’s no difference
I agree, but what if I don’t want to go to those places, what if in the process of playing the game, I need to be somewhere not safe? Do I just leave it for the week?
Dude, there’s no need for the snideposting. I’ve been cordial with you and non-snide, do me the same respect rather than doing so just because I disagree with you, thanks.
Yeah, so something you want to do is inconvienced because of a radical outbreak. And? How impactful would the outbreak be if it only stopped you doing the stuff you don’t want to do?
How about engaging in some collective thinking with your fellows and going “right then, this isn’t on” and banding together to kill the ghouls at nathy? You know, like you would in an RPG? That is an option. The ghouls are not difficult to kill for max level players.
Unfortunately yes , if you really cant accept the fact that a place will not be safe for one week once every 10 years I’m afraid that is your only option.
I personally dont see why getting griefed by NPC’s is okay but no players , you still wouldnt be able to do your auction house stuff or whatever you do in cities
