So i have recently come across a problem when it comes to any kind of pugging if we talk LFR Normal raids. HC raids etc. where people who dont need the gear clicks Need and they get it and then demands 100k-500k for the sayid item. Can blizz look into a solution for this. I myself would like to see Personal item drop come back so my gear is safe. just make it trade able and increase the dropchanses on a good week to 1-3 items from a raid. Or we can turn of cross realm trading gold again and people wont benefit from it. Or we can add a system that denies players who have the Ilvl of the sayid piece or higher cant roll on the item at all (but then again they will just gear with looms or what ever to trick the system). My opinion is to add Personal items from raid bosses again so people cant steal it. (other sugestions that cowers the solution to Greedy players are welcome!)
Not only did you make a topic about this on the wrong realm forum (as you’re altposting on your Moonglade character), it also has nothing to do with realm forums in general.
Besides that point Blizzard doesn’t oversee anything on the European realms bar the occasional tech/support topic and even then its just community mod janitors acting as FPOC.
i totally agree with you i just seen a player with a 503 upgradable ninja take a 480 cloak from lfr and when i asked them why he said becaurse i can if you dont lke it quit playing typical responce from a ninja looter 90% of which are from ravencrest players
I just disenchant the loot that I win.
then your not a proper gamer and a selfish person
Pug raids in WoW are just a waste of time.
Better look for a weekly organized group or guild even if you cant attend it every ID than waste any minute in pugs.
feel bad for you if you are so poor
If I help take down the boss and heal the group, then I deserve a share of the loot too. You don’t deserve anything more than anyone else just because its an upgrade for you.
I’m sorry, i didn’t realise LFR was the pinnacle of true gaming.
Pretty annoying also in m+ can’t share loot if you don’t need it. (Until u get high level).
For the raids, just stop checking who rolls on what and you will find the game more enjoyable. Let them be
So much ego, I also heal and don’t act like this you sound like a troll tho
While I prefer Personal Loot to Group Loot also and feel that cross-server gold trading was a questionable change, there are solutions readily available: join a guild or a raid group, or raid with one of the Discord communities like No Pressure, Chill Streak, etc.
Straight-up pugging raids is the worst possible way of doing that content. You spend more time on it with a lot of downtime and even re-doing bosses you already killed, the loot situation is worse, and you’re more likely to run into poor behavior.
I get frustrated with some WoW stuff too (lately it is the lack of social awareness and mindfulness among some of my friends), but there is always something you can do to improve things without waiting for Blizzard or other people to change for you.
Everyone is selfish. You want an item because it’s an upgrade for YOU and YOU will get into groups easier and YOU will do more damage.
How is that need greater than someone else’s desire for a new piece transmog if they spent the SAME amount of time in a raid or dungeon? If they are your friend, that is a little different, but you can’t expect random strangers to funnel gear to you. That expectation is entitled and selfish.
That sort of emotional blackmail may work with parents. It won’t work with random strangers.
You miss the point. If I contribute like everyone else did, then I get a chance at the loot. Otherwise, what’s the point in running the content? Your not entitled to something because it’s an upgrade for you. How hard is it to run the raid again instead of being self entitled and begging /w to someone you don’t know?
This is sooo annoying!
Would appreciate if they changed this.
Well mostly everyone fell of topic. now the main issue was people who already have the gear clicks need and still gets the gear and THEN DEMANDS 100K-500K OR 10K FOR SAYID ITEM BECAUSE OF CROSS REALM GOLD TRADING. this is a Blizz issue because they created it. i m not going to pay up extra money to hunt down a non dead realm with active guilds to get my loot. Now delves solves this issue because it is solo content and blizz just need to ignore every player who sends a coment on it with a +15 or hc raiding level skills cus they just want to increase the challenge. on a thing ment for casual players the players who do not touch group content but that still keeps the issue of players who are greedy for gold will continue to do raid only to screw with others instead of being friendly and teamworking and giving the gear they dont need away instead of demanding gold for it
Unfortunately it is a double edge sword, but Annesathiel is correct. If they participated they have just as much right to the loot as anyone else. Players are just going to have to accept this.
typical 12 year old reply some people aint guilded or just want some gear for normal runs and as for poor …dont think so karen
Except the item that person needed wasn’t your gear.
And with personal loot it would be the same thing. Same person would have won said roll in the background and still trying to sell…
That being said, i do think it shoudld be considered trolling, and bliz should take action against it.
Edit:
I do think it’s a problem tho, that someone who is geared cant get anything from doing lower content. So maybe have some decent gold from boss kills to make it semi worthwile for people who dont win loot.
Why do they do it? Because they can.
I’ve stopped using the “need for transmog” button on gear I only want the appearance of, as by looking at the loot-rolls, I am the only one who’ve used that function.
So I press “need” as everyone else.
Doesn’t fix anything; just the system needing on everything for everyone and ppl getting useless stuff dropped into their pockets still won’t trade it.
Only thing actually helping would be to add a bonus/malus system to group loot: the more often one rolls “need”, the less likely one rolls high numbers, the more often you “greed”/“pass” on something, the higher your chances to roll high on your next “need” roll.
Personal loot won’t stop people selling off their drop to the highest bidder but it does seem to distribute loot more fairly. I got more loot under PL than I do trying to roll on everything. The thing that caused the need to sell off issue is being able to trade gold cross realm.
What I miss more about PL is that it catered to the raid set up. Even in guild runs we are DEing stuff because drops aren’t useable by anyone.
