Oh thats my fav, when you win loot in a spec you are not actually playing. Then get said specced players scream and call you a litany of nasty things In my case itās when I win tank loot while Iām in dps role. Yet same tanks roll for DPS trink in dps spec.
lol, thereās only 2 tanks per raid usually and they think all the tank loot just for them⦠Yeah right.
some 1 need it more bleu piece or worse piece then you self douchbeg you use transmog rater give it dude thet really need it loot wont go waste then give it guy need it t mog
Again!
How someone who contributed as much as you (or obejctively, considering in the scenario you barley have the minimum Ilvl to even enter LFR, that someone contributed more because of the sheer numbers, aka. carried you) to kill the boss somehow less entitled to roll and have a gear/weapon/trinket/accesory, regardless what he needs for, disenchant, mog, selling it, or anything than you ?
Nobody signs up for LFR to farm loot for random strangers. Itās an unreasonable expectation. LFR is the only way to get some transmog skins, and for a geared player there is no other reason to go there. People who already have gear have it because they put in the time and effort to get it.
Itās different when you queue up with friends to help get them gear. I donāt roll on rings, necks, trinkets that I donāt need, or on transmog I already have, but if thereās a weapon (nobody needs weapons this season anyway as everyone gets bullions) or an armor piece whose transmog I donāt have, Iāll roll need on it if the game allows me to. Like everyone else.
I donāt LIKE it and would much prefer if the ātransmogā button was a separate roll and awarded the skin (not the item) to the winner. That would be fairer to everyone. But then, I also think Group Loot in LFR should be removed and replaced by Personal Loot again so we can skip the whole rolling thing that makes people feel bad for a variety of reasons.
Just now I witnessed people ganging up on a healer for winning the Beacon trinket. THe lootjournal says that healspec can roll on it, so why wouldnāt they.
And if those whiners are so salty of losing out on it, buy a better version of it with your bullion.
I would agree to an extent. For random content I agree Personal should be the way. Its already this way in Dungeons and TW raids etc.
So yea for Queued instances yea, but for premade groups no.
The issue with looting is thereās always pros and cons. For example, lets says its personal loot. I have a 502 ring⦠A 509 ring drops but wrong stats for me, Due to the restrictions that exist I cannot trade it to anyone as it is a higher ilvl. Then it become well just remove the restriction. Then you can potentially just funnel 1 person all the loot. This would intern lead to things like world first raiders funnelling main raiders all gear making World First race pointless.
I think its all about finding the right balanceā¦
And that balance in my opinion would be to leave the looting system as is with the exception of making LFR personal to match other queued content (like norm/heroic dungeons etc)
Before S4 hit I was queuing into Aberrus on my mage to get a specific piece for transmog. I ended up winning it and another clothie in my group got salty about it because I needed on mog (he also needed, for the record, and he also had ilvl massively better than said piece).
They will always be people who complain about it, but in the end they will have to accept that people do the easiest content for a variety of reasons. People massively better geared than them either go there to test a new spec out, to try and get a specific item for their build, or for transmog purposes. Blizzard wants it to happen this way so the success rates overall stay on a healthy percentage.
People being greedy is not the product of group loot either, but rather the by-product of being able to trade cross-realm, and because people lost their easy source of gold income.
