Hc’s worked perfectly as a catch up mechanic without this silly hc+ and with icc launch and rdf it was even more perfect. Raids are there for the chalange

I have mixed feelings about that. I was yesterday with my 4,3k rsham on DTK hc+ and Naxx 10. I didn’t have any expectations, but those runs were soooooo slow (DTK took almost hour, Naxx took 3h). I’m not mad at those people at all, but in future I rather avoid grouping with low geared players if there are no carries. I’m glad some people get upgrades, but I didn’t enjoy those runs and will avoid them if I see there’s no pumper in a group.
Are you familiar with the theroy that everyone knows all people abour 3-6 connections?

This pretty much applies to wow as well.
If 25 people meet to clear ulduar and they distribute the gear within the Group it benefits ALL people somehow. It does not matter if he is in your gilde or isnt

If that story would only be about your own guild then yes, you should be happy your guildy got his bis item when yours didn’t drop. Better geared guildies result in faster clears and more chance for your own loot to drop.
But the entire server? Pugs ask for min 4.5k gs for an Uld 10m clear, including HM’s. A month ago 4.2k was more than fine. In a month it will be 4.8k etc etc. You see? Same story with hc+, really.
When the population starts to get more and more geared their requirement will rise as well. Nodody wants to ‘boost’ people. It’s all perception.
“I have 5k gs so no way in hell I’m playing with 4.5k gs people, they only slow me down” - a guy that had 4.5k gs a few weeks ago, when he cleared it fine then, too
Hell, for OS25m 2D people are asking for min 4.2k these days, which is (almost) bis p1, while it’s zergable with 3.8, even less.
Ofc this is only in the pug scene, but see my first point: in guilds personal GS doesn’t matter, only the average GS of the raid group - to an extent ofc.
We clear almost all HM’s and the least geared person has 4.2, but loads of other have 5k

Most of the people I see using this defense usually PUG regularly, and usually benefit from joining crippled guilds ( the ones with 20-one-or-two-that-need-to-pug ) and because they roll like kings, get some nice pieces of loot and never to show up again…

The tank with the Betrayer is there for its own agenda - because if there’s nothing he needs from Naxx we all know he wouldn’t be there. And that’s why skip runs are the norm these days.

The gatekeeping is so ridiculously stupid… i am at 4930 gearscore and did all HMs on 10man yet i cannot get into a single 25man HM pug because obviously to do 25man Hardmodes you must have completed all Hardmodes on 25man beforehand 
I would outperform 80% of those sweaty kids if given a chance.
Sometimes it’s sad that we are all hiding behind screens… smacking some sense into a few of those cucks would make the world a better place

yes, thank god i am in a guild that doesn’t feel the need to log to get stuff done, so the only „parses“ are from an older progress raid. As stated above - I outperform 80% of those cool parser-chads whenever i have to pug a raid. But it’s elitism at it’s finest… just like in real life: the people that feel the need to show off are the ones that could never really achieve something noteworthy by themselves

I’m sorry but you are clueless then. If you are freshly dinged there is no reason not to get some furious off pieces. You can get variants with +hit to reach the cap and they are way better than ilvl 200 pve and roughly equal to ilvl 213 pve gear - check for yourself.
I’m not saying to use full PvP gear but 2-4 pieces to gear up quickly alongside BoEs, badge gear, naxx/os/HC+ gear so you can do uld 10/25 normals instead of whining about no one taking your 3.5k gs lazy.
Anyway one week level 80 and I’m at 4.5k gs full PvE gear now worked for me. They will be replaced on your first uld run most likely.

I saw someone LFM for 10M ulduar HMs+Alg the other day requiring 5kgs and 90+ average parses… Like it’s starting to get hard to distinguish between who’s serious and who’s joking.
