GTX 1080 for Shadowlands,really?

cyberpunk will get delayed forever
nvidia 4999 ti super titan will be here by then

GTX 1060 beats GTX 1080m on Benchmarks. You don’t know m versions of cards underperform by a lot compared to the full versions?

Benchmarks for GTX 1060 6GB with an i7 on Subnautica = 65-100 fps. 76 fps on average. (1080p)

Do some research?

cyberpunk is reliced 14th november devs has convormed no more dilays ( 4 days ago )

My GTX 1080 is 180W-200W, same as the desktop version. My GTX 1080 runs circles around the GTX 1060. As stated above, I play on UHD (this means 4K just in case you did not understand it first time), where Subnautica runs at about 45 FPS. Your system, and your ideas, seem to be obsolete.

Now in Shadowlands I noticed I was struggling at about 50 FPS, and after some digging, I pinned it down to the setting ā€œLiquid Detailā€ and yes I was standing in a pond… Traditionally my GTX 1080 has suffered when there is a lot of fire and smoke, typically in raids, but this time I have a frame rate drop just in the open world.

Did you read my posts by any chance? Did you see the part where I said 1080p? Comparing your fps using 4k to 1080p to question me? That makes sense how? I’m not playing in 4k like I stated. If you think the 1060 gets less than 50fps on 1080p with liquid detail on high, You’re wrong, I’ve played it.

Telling someone with the actual hardware that’s played it that they are wrong, funny.

So here I am with the hardware, played the beta and the latest releases on steam in 1080p informing people that they are fine, You without the hardware comes in talking about 4k and a different graphics card? Makes sense.

Do you really need me to make youtube videos? Honestly.

I know what UHD is thanks, But comparing it to a post about 1080p made no sense, So was hard to reply to what you actually said.

Here I am with a 1060 6GB multiboxing on 3 accounts without issue. Here I am talking rubbish (guess I’m in fairyland)

Anyway laters! Off to play the new marvel game on max settings in 1080p without issues, Enjoy buying your 1k graphics card.

The 3090 is the Titan card.

The 3080 is the top of the range non-Titan card.

that meens it will have 12 gig menory as a titan X ?

3090 has 24gb of GDDR6x ram and a sli port.

But Nvidia is killing that off so 3070, 3080 doesn’t have a SLI port anymore.

But I can see a 3060 coming out eventually to really kick it to AMD that’ll put RTX into the Ā£300-350 range.

Prices are varied since 3rd party prices are out now. Asus recommends getting a new PSU anyways of 750w or more since the cards demand fast power ramp up when needed. The STRIX version which is factory Overclocked will use 400watts.

PSU’s degrade over time so it may work or not but if not, expect BSOD’s and other issues if not enough power can get from the PSU to the graphics card when pushed during gameplay or using CUDA.

They recommend a new PSU if you’re pushing it anyways with overclocking or have a PSU stressed with that. Such as bitcoin mining, doing number crunching such as helping to find cure for covid, that sort of thing.

It’s the power regulation that could go down in performance hence recommendation of checking your PSU and replacing it.

Which could mean a lack of PSU’s, so if planning to upgrade plan ahead and get said parts to ensure no downtime. Old PSU may work, may not, depends on how much the components inside the PSU have degraded. These new graphic cards are a bit hungry and hasty when it comes from low to high power in such a short amount of time.

Saying that SL’s recommended is okay as 1080 is like saying vanilla skyrim should be recommended at 1080.

The game is optimized awfully and instead of fixing it, they are pushing the responsibility to costumers. Yes, let me toss half a grand on a GPU for a game that realistically looks like PS3 era game.

Yes, last months i’ve played only WoW, yesterday decided to play Fallout 4 again and found this graphics amazing, ā€œwoooooow its looks so coolā€ was mine first minds. But then i remembered thats is 5 years old game…and nowdays outdated graphics MMORPG recommended to you 8gb VRAM graphics card…

Where Fallout 4 graphic was amazing? I live in diffrent dimension?

After WoW its was looks like for me.

So you probably playing diffrent wow, mabe come to retail and leave classic?

fallout 4 high ress ver

Minimi req : rtx 2070 or better

i have 2060 Super (8 GB) and even on low settings im unable to hit my refresh rate cap (144 Hz). I get frequent dips below 60 and graphical fidelity settings seem to have no impact on framerate. Whether its at 1 or 10 it’s the same thing. 50-120 FPS.

Wow just isn’t well optimized towards high performance in new content.

I bet even Threadripper paired with brand-new RTX 3090 would have issues maintaining 144 FPS. World-first raiders have the best computers money can buy and they don’t have that much FPS.
