In my country 1080 ti cost ~ 1k $, mostly coz of customs duties. I said it before.
Ha Ha buy AMD and for quarter of that price which Is listed as well. Mine 1060 6 gb does wow on 4k above 60 fps can go for 2k resolution with 100+ fps.
Easier to wait budget nvidia 30XX series. 3070 preorder will costs 600-700$. And this new cards hits hard on this outdated 10XX and 20XX series.
Weāre delusional. It must have been the mushrooms I ate, How about you?
True will be getting 1 myself heard rumours about 3000 series Ti cards with more vram to fight against what AMD will release like etx 3070Ti with 10/12 gb vram.
He looks at the floor in Orgrimar tho.
You can have a nasa computer or a certain set up that costs more than someone else and have issues while someone else doesnāt on some lower budget rig, Just like you said. Look at the support forums, All the people having fps issues and problems are people with 2070 and 2080s . Wow is unoptimised.
Iāve played on pcs with better specs than mine in similar settings that give lower fps, Itās like playing the lottery.
So many neysayers that donāt know what theyāre talking about in here preaching at people telling them to spend Ā£100s for no reason.
What you said is true. If someone is spending all that money to play wow they need to do some research.
Iāve been on the beta with the same graphic details as i play on retail and the performance is above 60 fps for me at 1080p with vsync on. Also to the doubters that like wasting their money, You think I buy 1000s of steam games for fun if they didnāt work? use your head.
you are a liar. Come on post the proof. Especially maxed RDR2 on a gtx1060.

Do you really want me to download my 100gig game, and spend time to upload the video to youtube just to prove it to you , mr stutter? I played the game for 10 hours on steam.
Wow someone is mad that they wasted money on the 20xx series.
sure. post a proof that you can play RDR2 with everything maxed out in 1080p with 60fps.
right now you are just a trolling liar.
The GTX1050/GTX1050ti was introduced 25th October 2016, I should know, I bought one. Get your facts right.
Doubt those rumours will come to reality.
New Xbox / PS 5 are using AMDās RDNA2 architecture (2nd gen 5700xt basically) and those speccs are around rtx 2080s performance for the consoles.
Meaning we will see a small bump towards the discrete cards but i doubt if the first gen of these new cards can compete with the newest Nvidia cards.
And even tho AMD is telling us: but these new GPUās will get better over time (ie Ryzen 1 / 2 / 3 but GPU side of things) i highly doubt if they can make those jumps fast enough to be any competition towards Nvidia.
And then, there is the fact of AMD and their drivers being an issue over the last years, because they keep re-writing drivers.
Where Nvidia is using the same drivers for years now.
And as a final note, TIās or Super cards have been always a āāstepdownāā version of the 1 tier higher card.
Ie the 2070 super was a 2080 with some disabled cores and what not.
For the 3070 / 3080 to get TI or Super variants, i dont think there is much room left in product stack. in terms of production costs / msrp for the TI variants.
499 US dollars for a 3070 and 699 US for a 3080, which leaves room for a 3080 TI, but i highly doubt they can fit a 3070 TI in that doesnt outright perform the 3080. (1070 TI was basically a 1080 for lower cost for the consumer but not for Nvidia)
Telling people that Iāve played a game on a steam account with my hardware specs. Iām such an amazing troll. The cheek of me. I sure do love spending Ā£60 on a game that runs bad in my system. Never seen trolling took to this level before.
System requirements have always been overkill for WoW
Nvidia has done what Intel couldnāt and that was to get a decent improvement on the second generation of RTX cards. Instead of tryting for small increasements while asking for premium prices, they went for improvemtn over 1st gen RTX with even the lowest card and then used a fab process by another company to really slash the price down.
AMD is probably going to face bigger, stronger competition than Intel who havenāt been at their best now for a long while.
But itās also to protect about keeping PC gaming business alive over the improvements Microsoft and Sony have made for their next console.
But do agree on the whole lottery thing with hardware when playing WoW. I never had framerate issues with my old system. A FX8350 on a Sabtretooth 990FX motherboard, but others did.
Then again, depends on how old their PSUās were at the time as that can cause issues if that part of the sysem isnāt up to the task. They do wear out slowly over time and arenāt able to produce a stable voltage to make a processor and/or graphics card work efficiently as they could.
Lookl, having a computer to play games will always require parts to be replaced in it, every piece of hardware has a limit of how long you can use it. Overclock, have it on 8 or more hours a day and youāre going to wear out parts faster.
Anyone that thinks that they can continue to use 5-10 year old system without puting money into it is always going to find things moving on and them being slowly pushed out.
Whether on PC, Mac or console youāre going to see hardware cycles. PC is dfferent as you can upgrade various parts at different points without paying for a new system. (Intel less so)
So that £500 investment on a new graphics card could last you 2-3 years which brings it down to what? £13.88 a month investment over three years.
Until WoW ends and they bring out a new game engine for it and relaunch it, thereās nothing much that can be done but to brute force it to run better and thatās to use faster hardware.
Maybe they should also stop adding more and more effects on an engine which is clearly not capable of fully supporting it.
So what they shoud do? Not adding new stuff in to the game?
I agree. My laptop is 2 years old I have nvidia gtx 1060 and i7-7700 HQ cpu and donāt meet required settings eitherā¦Iām hoping the specs are based on the cinematics or somethingā¦
I have GTX 1050 Ti.
Oh well itās just recommended settings I guess Iāll play without ray tracing or detailed shadows or whatever it is that requires so much graphic memory.
I was talking about your CPU.
