i have a problem. i am the Guild Master, and i were fiddeling about the guild ranks, all of a sudden the questie addon had problems, and had to reload UI. after that i went straight to the initiate rank.
and now, in the guild we have no Guild Master, no one can promote me, and i cant promote myself out of initiate. this doesnt seem to work itself out.
one thing of notice. i could make the guild tabard and all while i was initiate.
im both Guild Master and initiate, and also none…
Wow it sounds really weird that a UI problem on your side can screw up your guild ranks. Have you tried relogging your character (it’s enough to just go out to character selection, if you’re afraid of queues)?
not afraid of queue. have relogged, restartet computer. enabled/disabled addons.
tried many things for many hours. no solution.
and i cant make a ticket to blizard either(that are understandable in lauchdays)
Yeah that’s really weird indeed. I got no clue as I bet you’re not able to guild disband either. I don’t know if your guild is that small that disbanding is not an issue for you though.
If you’re not able to guild disband then only Blizzard can help you out on this one, god knows when they’ll be able to handle tickets and help you out.

I had that, all it’s done is renamed the GM rank to the wrong thing. You can give it the name of Guild Master again just be sure to change the right Initiate rank to GM.

Yeah I seen that something similar happen when I signed a guild charter and then I looked later on and there didnt seem to be a GM of the guild.
While later there was one, didn’t know what had happened.
