Hi All, I’ve just reactivated my subscription, previously cleared all MC Content with bonebreakers guild at Classic launch… but the server seems quiet now? it would be a pitty to have to roll another charater on another servers, just wondering what my options are? is there activity horde side? should i bite the bullet and start again on Alliance? Thanks!
Ally is quite active on PV, dunno how Horde is though, try joining LFG channel

when i tried on lvl 5 alt on Horde side there was some activity in LFG but less then on ally side
I ansver to where: Off playing HC or SoD. You try out HC, is quite refreshing, fun and feel like OG Vanilla.
I amend a bit, Pyrewood is PvE so mostly gone to HC. My experience is PvE go to HC and PvP go SoD – exceptions of course, but gemneral trend.
firemaw pvp cluster on both sides has a good population, AV was popping to 4am today.
We’re around! there are a few active guilds horde side so you won’t be alone. It’s been quiet since SoD but you can find some nice communities despite that 
Are you sure you are not playing on the Wrath Pyrewood Village?
Positive I fully understand your viewpoint though, the cluster is far from bustling, not many people running around and the AH is not that busy. Most people are on SoD (and maybe HC).
There are a few guilds around that are active, but they’re mostly focused on endgame, so even though there are quite a few levelers within, it’s not guaranteed you’ll find a dungeon group, at least outside of busy hours.
Of course, if one is looking for a busy server, I would not recommend the PvE cluster. However for those that want a quieter experience, it’s still a good place to be IMO.

I was on Pyrewood Village Horde in September 2022 till February 2023. At the peak of Wrath’s launch, the player-base was scarce. Now, it seems there is no one left at all, so I recently transferred to Gehennas.
You are asking in the wrong forum. The Pyrewood Village here is well populated in Classic Era, but I think you refer to the Pyrewood Village on the Wrath servers. They have their own forums - see the tabs in the top
