I was, though. I was booted after L went on a passive-aggressive tirade against me and accused me of having no genuine interest in the guild because some of us have mains we need to prioritise
Surely it’s completely fortuitous that the guild was disbanded only a few hours after its very first event which hardly anyone joined - unfortunate, but you need to count on that as a leader
If there’s anyone who liked the concept (especially former SE members) who would like to see something similar continue under new leadership, feel free to PM me in-game or add me on Bnet (GambettaFR#2785).
Hello there, all.
Let me start off with that I did indeed disband it after me and the CO GM thought about it, I’m not going to make this too long and just be blunt about it, I sent announcement in the Discord Server and I deleted it after a few hours - I think it was about 8 hours, not sure. I thought most received it but it appears that a good portion didn’t, most DMed the CO GM about it and she explained, and I explained to all who DMed me about it as well (Except for about 2, since they got an answer from the CO GM). I really didn’t think this guild disbandment would have any impact on any, since it lived for less than a month, I did indeed remove anyone who I was friends with on bnet, since I did a deep clean to my friends list and those who I didn’t recognize were deleted it, I don’t really have much else to say, I’d just like to send an apology towards anyone who felt they were wronged.
From what I’ve been told by others, this sudden lack of interest from the officers did coincide with rather meagre attendance at the first IC event, after which they chose to disband the guild that same evening.
There’s no point keeping this up if you all ask me. It’s done, in a very stupid way that no sensible person would disband a guild in such a way that had a very good OOC atmosphere… but it’s done now.
Naming the guild was one of the funniest things I’ve done in WoW this month.
“Hmm, The Red Ravens!” that name is taken
“Damn. Hmm, Red Ravens?” that name is taken
“F**K! Err… screw this, The Blood Ravens. It can’t possibly be available, no way.” name registers
It’s a good name with just enough cheese-that-is-awesome and fits well.
