The Darkspear Warband

Theme and Style
Sons and daughters of the Darkspear, your tribe calls to you! Peace may have been reached with the Alliance but snakes hide in the shadows and the Horde casts a great one indeed. The Darkspear must be vigilant in opposing these threats to defend the tribe and our Horde.
This guild will act as a military warband under the banner of the Darkspear. Participating in military duties as well as a strong focus on the troll tribal and faith themes. These will be done through storyline campaigns with groups against the Horde and cerimonial events focused on gaining the blessing and support of the loa.
This will be structured in a DM style with foes ranging from grunt level to boss level and everywhere inbetween. These storylines will provide IC rewards that will be specific to the force we’re fighting and may carry on developing in later events. An example of this could be a weapon that is cursed and a later event, three weeks let’s say, gives you the option to purifiy it but it takes something away from the design. Turns it from a weapon of death magic to a nature oriented weapon.
We also use IC titles as rewards. What this means is that the positions of “Raptor Keeper” or “Elder” is not given via OOC means but by a players IC actions. For example if a player defeats a DM boss and does so easily they can expect a over the top title so that this can be remembered. The same applies to IC duties. These range from beastmaster to headhealer.
Our intention with these rewards and titles is to highlight our desire to progress our members character development.
Ranks and Rules
The Warband is military structured however this idea only concerns the ranking. Ideas such as uniform doesn’t exist within the Warband we only ask that members choose a outift that fits the concept of a Horde/Troll guild.
Champion
The leader of the Warband he is chosen to lead the guild in combat and outside of it. This rank serves as the commander rank of the guild.
Captain
Elected by the Champion these members are the officer positions of the guild. Taking up the responsibilites of Champion when needed.
Bloodslayer
A rank of earned favour these warriors have proven themselves tireless in the art of combat. Proving that they are the following; honourable, savage and selfless.
Headhunter
The standing issue rank of the guild. Headhunters duties are as the name suggests to gather the heads of the fallen so that they can prove themselves feared and fabled warriors of the Darkspear.
