Looking forward to not trying to incite gladitorial rebellions against our troll overlords! For real, not gonna try to start spartacus moments at all.

Hehe, as if you inferior races could manage a proper rebellion to begin with ;)
Will the guild, in proper Aztec style; denote the strength and skill of a warrior by foes captured for sacrifice, rather than enemies killed? Since they use slaves, they don't seem beyond sacrificial magic, perhaps in honour of Bwonsamdi.

I love where you're going with this. While I can't say we have an official system in mind that will literally count how many slaves/sacrifices our warriors rack up, characters who prove themselves more useful in these regards will indeed likely be honoured, praised and respected for their deeds, whereas those who simply kill their enemies will likely not receive the same glory.
As for the idea of capturing slaves or keeping enemies alive for sacrifice, I can confirm this is exactly what we're going for. However, I suspect it'll often be somewhat limited by people naturally not wanting their characters thrown into slavery, or worse; sacrificed to some sassy old loa like Bwonsamdi. It all comes down to what we're able to set up with other guilds and RP:ers that we come across!
To answer your question in short; Yes, yes, and yes!
I suspect it'll often be somewhat limited by people naturally not wanting their characters thrown into slavery, or worse, sacrificed to some sassy, evil old loa like Bwonsamdi.
Let's not forget that we can sacrifice NPCs as much as we want.
Get da altars ready, mon! Da loa gonna be feastin' tonight!
This is true! In DMs our hands won't be tied, and we can butcher as many innocents as we please!14/10/2018 00:57Posted by Zalkundi

I look forward to RPing with you reactionaries. I hope you flourish.
Reactionaries?! Blasphemy! You should join us as a fellow troll!16/10/2018 14:41Posted by KamohoI look forward to RPing with you reactionaries. I hope you flourish.
Even though Zandalari aren't actually out yet, people are naturally itching to get some RP going. Thus we ended up having our first guild meeting of sorts yesterday where we started setting up a foundation for the guild. Fun times were had, and I for one think we have a lovely and varied set of trolls already.
Oh, and if you like the idea of going to STV to dig up forgotten Atal'ai artifacts, are we ever the guild for you! Because we're planning to do exactly that, apparently!

Looking forward to the STV Campaign, Zandalari just cannot come soon enough! Though there is the next Zuldazar bar night to look forward to, that myself and a couple of others from our guild will be attending, looking forward to the chance to mingle there.
To give a brief update: Despite not initially planning on doing much RP pre 8.1, the non-Zandalari trolls of the guild, including myself, have had quite a bit of fun at small gatherings and larger server-wide events such as Hanazu's bar nights. We'll also be attending the Day of the Dead march on the 1st of November. Come one, come all! .. so long as you're not a disgusting elf!
From what I've heard, there's some speculation that 8.1 will be out in as little as one or two weeks. I look forward to the Zanchul train rolling through the stops and leaving as many people baffled as recruited.
Zandalari Paladins confirmed people! Blizzcon has brought us some amazing news!
Can you explain this a little further, it actually sounds really interesting. The Gladiator one has me really thinking.20/09/2018 20:56Posted by ZùlGladiator (Non-troll fighter)

Apologies for the late response, but yes, I'll clarify:03/11/2018 13:56Posted by MarlightCan you explain this a little further, it actually sounds really interesting. The Gladiator one has me really thinking.20/09/2018 20:56Posted by ZùlGladiator (Non-troll fighter)

Since then we've technically changed the ranks to be 'Slave' and 'Converted', (this is for the sake of giving some proper tangible progression for the slave/gladiator RPers. If they prove themselves on some level trustworthy or reliable to the Hand of Zanchul, they can reach a point where they won't just be treated as disposable trash). With that said, I'll answer your actual question:
So, we have two types of slaves in the guild. Typical slaves, and then gladiators.
The slaves carry out all sorts of tasks, be it labour or service.
The gladiators have a slightly more niche role. An early, un-trusted gladiator might be allowed to do little else than provide entertainment by fighting other gladiators. However, no proud troll will waste fresh food and water on some dumb orc for nothing. It won't take long before a gladiator will be put to use for more productive matters, such as:
Serving as cannon fodder or a disposable vanguard in combat.
Acting as combat challengers for the trolls to fight to prove themselves.
Acting as security should they become trusted enough.
STARTING MAXIMUS REBELLIONS AND MURDERING ALL THE TROLLS LIKE KARGATH BLADEFIST!
Edit: With all that said, that's a very short and simple explanation of what a gladiator RPer might find themselves doing in our guild. It really depends on the player and the type of relationship they build up with their troll overlords, and naturally I'm also open to suggestions for how to expand the concept.
Well, that is really interesting concept. I will let the thought of that whirl in my head. I really like that idea.
*Edit* Thank-you.

This is a message of Alliance propaganda to the Zandalari scum, expressing me being grateful for that one stabby-stabby encounter in Zuldazar. ...Too bad that village of yours got blown up.
You dogs have no idea how much you helped our cause. After you attacked, we held a nice little speech of how the Horde's the only reason you showed up in the first place!04/11/2018 05:59Posted by CrowtonThis is a message of Alliance propaganda to the Zandalari scum, expressing me being grateful for that one stabby-stabby encounter in Zuldazar. ...Too bad that village of yours got blown up.
Hate feeds hate, and we plan on using your Alliance offensives to spread our own propaganda for a long time to come.
Joined these peeps over the weekend and I highly recommend! I love me some troll RP and lore and they have a wonderful understanding and respect for both!
10/10 would definitely recommend for quality RP.
