[H-RP] Keepers of Antiquity - Adventuring and Exploration Await!

The Keepers haven’t been idle! Over the last week, they’ve been busy continuing their hunt for Hajtvald, or rather, the hunt for a tool they could use to bring him down.

The Keepers first excursion saw them on the search for an artifact of the Titans, that Isara claimed could be used to empower runes that could contain Hajtvald. With the Death Knight showing them the way, they soon found it, however they noticed it wasn’t functional any longer.

Thankfully, Bugs had a penchant for looking around the rocks on the ground, and soon found that some of the pieces of the artifact had come loose, engraved with runes. With Koralash’s knowledge of the Titans though, they were soon able to piece it together, and activating it once more.

They did not expect how it would react however, and noticing both Kiera as an (ex)-Human, and saronite armour, it began attacking the Keepers, claiming it felt the corruption of the Old Gods. With Cha’zan managing to get the undead out of harm’s way, and Koralash using their draconic heritage to deactivate the defenses, the Keepers made it out mostly unscathed, the power of the artifact in hand.

Their second mission saw them following a trail that Hughy had found them, an old tale telling of the spirits of the Drakkari ruins on the coast, and an item capable of containing a spirit.

As the group entered the catacombs, they found them empty, except for two Troll spirits. The spirits told the group of one of the old Drakkari, who had sought to live forever, but instead got herself trapped inside the object that should have been her saving. Unfortunately for the Keepers, the Trolls didn’t have any great wish to let the group pass, at least, not without finding some entertainment for the first time in eons.

With some riddles from Bugs, some stories from Cha’zan, and some magic from Koralash, they soon seemed satisfied, and opened the way for the Keepers to move further into the ruin. The next issue on hand, was a… floor. Suspecting traps, they took some time to cross safely, and it seemed all was well, until Iffy took a wrong step, activating a trap, and making the floor disappear from under their feet. Thankfully, they were dexterous enough to avoid falling in, and they joined the rest of the group in the last chamber.

The chamber wasn’t grand, or rich, containing as little as some embalmed corpses along the walls, an unlit stack of wood in the middle, and a gong. With the group unable from ringing the gongs they could find, Cha’zan rang the one inside, and suddenly the stacked wood set ablaze, vanishing in mere seconds. Under it, remained a symmetrical gem, seemingly what this old king had trapped himself in.

As Koralash lifted it from where it was laying, another trap was activated, and the Keepers scrambled out of the room as fast as they could. As they ran across the floor outside, they activated far more traps than they had on the way in, but with what must have been divine intervention, they avoided them all, and ran outside of the catacombs as fast as they could, gem still in hand.

And that is where they currently stand! Still remaining in Camp Oneqwah, they plot their next move. It seems that their resident Dracthyr in Koralash has made a plan to lure Hajtvald’s drake down from the mountain, and there’s still a Troll spirit trapped inside that gem of theirs. Time will tell how they deal with both issues.

What was that? The last prep event before the campaign finale? And it was just a few days ago? Of course everyone needs to know what happened!

It seems the Troll spirits hadn’t been lying to the Keepers. There was indeed someone inside the crystal they had found, and they didn’t seem to wish to leave of their own free will. The problem was two-fold. Not only did the Drakkari spirit have to be pushed out, but they also needed to be dealt with after, lest the Keepers found themselves having another disembodied being to deal with.

Believing the Furbolg of the area might possess totems capable of helping their endeavours, the Keepers set out just a bit to the south of Camp Oneqwah, to the Furbolg settlement that waited there. As the Furbolg weren’t exactly very friendly after being corrupted by an Old God, a plan had to be devised as to how these totems would actually be retrieved.

The solution ended up being two-fold. With the aid of some of Schythois’ illusionary magic, Cha’zan made his way closer to the village, and managed to trade a totem for himself. Unfortunately, they just traded for one, and that would not be enough. At that point, Kai’alteir and Kiera who had been laying in waiting, used Cha’zan’s appearance as a distraction, and stole one of the totems for the Keepers while the Furbolg were distracted.

With totems in hand, or rather arms, the Keepers headed out to a secluded clearing in the woods. Having brought the crystal with them, Isara forced the spirit out, but ended herself up frozen, and incapable of helping. Though the Troll had some tricks up her sleeve to disorient the Keepers, they still proved capable of dealing with the Drakkari Witch doctor. With the help of the totems, the spirit was soon defeated, and the crystal laid empty.

Without much further ado, the Keepers returned the totems they had both traded and taken to the Furbolg, though, it was more a matter of placing them nearby the settlement and hoping they would find them, as opposed to actually handing them over. All is well that ends well, yes?

The end of the expedition is coming up, and with the Keepers moving to Camp Winterhoof, practically nothing remains before they have their final showdown with Hajtvald. How will it go? I don’t know, we’ll all have to see!

Oh, hi! I’ve been a bit slow on the updates, but here’s something for the forums!

There it was, the last few weeks of preparations were finally done for the Keepers. After finding everything from Titan artifacts, to battling old Drakkari spirits, and making sure to kill a drake, the Keepers seemed to be ready. Weeks of preparations, and now it was time, time to deal with Hajtvald.

At first, it was quite the normal evening. The weather hadn’t been either better or worse, and simply remained alright, that night. Of course, nothing could ever be simple, and it wasn’t long before the Keepers noticed the dark clouds gathering atop the peak of one of the Howling Fjord’s mountains.

It was clear to them, something was going on up there, a ritual, and it was equally clear that whatever it was, Hajtvald was responsible for it. With all of their preparation, the Keepers weren’t going to leave the Vrykul to his machinations, and with time coming up short, they started to make their way up the mountain.

It wasn’t long until they came upon the defenses that Hajtvald had set up for them. The first being some lesser spirits, bound to the Vrykul’s will, commanding a few undead of their own. Of course, the Keepers weren’t going to let them stand in the way, and after some time of fighting, the undead had returned to being… simply dead.

The ritual at the peak did impact the local weather, and not long after the Keepers had made their way out of the battle with the spirits, they soon found themselves dodging the mountain itself. The commotion had set off an avalanche, and it was only by their magical skills and quick reactions that the Keepers came out alive, saving themselves from being swept off the mountains.

So the Keepers came to the top of the mountain. At the peak, they could see not just Hajtvald, but one of their own, one that had been lost in the weeks before. One that had been taken by the Vrykul spirit, and his forces. Guarded by the twisted souls of two ancient Vrykul warriors, the prototypes for what eventually became the Sjalafangar, Hajtvald worked on his ritual, attempting to take over the body of one of the Keeper’s own.

But if there was one thing the Keepers weren’t known for however, it was quitting. Having made their way beyond both mountain and spirit, they too came to blows with the last forces of Hajtvald. The battle was long, some of the Keepers making away just barely with their lives, yet in the end, the souls were no more.

With his protection lost, Hajtvald was left alone, and weak. After failing to invade the Keepers’ minds and fend them off, one of the Keepers stepped forward, and made use of the trap they had designed for him. Mere moments passed before the magic was set loose, and then it was done. Hajtvald was done, trapped in a single runed, symmetrical crystal, the Keepers’ comrade saved from the fate that had been planned.

Only a few days later, after making their way down the mountain, after letting themselves recover, the Keepers made the final decision on their antagonist. There was no point to holding him further, to locking him into a jail they had made for him. It was better his soul was finished, sent away and destroyed, into whatever awaited for those who were no longer allowed to stay on this plane. It was done. They had won.

Wow, wasn’t that a mouthful, huh? With that said, the Keepers are now back in Orgrimmar, taking some certainly well deserved R&R after Northrend. Rumour is even that they intend to visit the upcoming Vulpera market, then again, how couldn’t they, with one of their own member taking part as one of the stalls?

The Keepers now find themselves back in Orgrimmar after their harrowing travels through Northrend have come to an end. From the Fjord, to Dragonblight, the Grizzly Hills and back to the Fjord, the Keepers have been away for a good few weeks. It’s good to be back home!

For the time being, we are settling back in and looking towards our next expedition. There are things afoot before then, however, with The Keepers finding themselves assigned something other than their relic hunting adventures… And it isn’t great!

On a side note, our recruitment is open once more. We are, ideally, looking for characters that aren’t Elves for the time being. There are so many Elves. Why is it always Elves!? If you are interested in joining up with the Keepers, do reach out to us to get involved. Many more adventures await!

The Keepers have had a busy week, with an impromptu visit to Zandalar taking place to begin with! Invited by their friend and ally Big Cha’zan, he sought to ask the Keepers for their aid with some slight revolutionising. Just a little, as a treat!

With his request being quite sensitive, it was agreed that the Keepers could aid Cha’zan as individuals if they so wished and that their work in Zandalar on this trip would not be official Keeper business!

Despite some injuries for those who took part, the Keepers succeeded in aiding their friend and making a small change in the city of gold that will, hopefully, see things slightly improve for some of the common people.

Returning to Orgrimmar, the Keepers were then summoned to Razor Hill for a job to secure their funding for their next expedition. Greeted by a grizzled and grumpy grunt, their orders were to retrieve anything of note from the shipwrecks out to the east. Shipwrecks that have been washed upon the sands for many, many years and already picked clean.

Confused and frustrated, the Keepers went ahead and began the work, finding practically nothing of note. It was clear that their time was being wasted and some within the group noted that it felt like they were being punished for something.

Returning back to Razor Hill with their paltry findings, they were informed that they had missed their deadline by a matter of minutes and so a report detailing their failure at the job had already been sent off to Orgrimmar, along with the fact that they would not be paid for their work.

Frustrations grew as the group returned to the city, determined to find more work to secure their funding and hopefully figure out what was going on!

More jobs have been secured, including the escort of supplies and… the clean-up of streets in Bilgewater Harbor? Sounds like more busywork!

We are still open for recruitment, so if you’d like to join in with us as we slowly move towards our next expedition, now is a great time to dive in!

Back with another update! After some traipsing through the Barrens on a supply run, the Keepers find themselves at a Crossroads - and I don’t mean the settlement in the Barrens!

Opting to escort the caravan of supplies up to The Mor’shan Rampart, the Keepers met up at Far Watch Post to find that the job wasn’t quite as advertised previously…

Hughy was awaiting the group, sat upon the smallest and most sickly looking kodo some of the group had seen. To make matters worse, the creature was burdened with carrying multiple crates and satchels of goods.

Still, the Keepers pressed on despite some of their number debating that they were purposely being assigned tasks and orders that would be impossible to complete without issue.

After several happenings along the way, including Koralash, Sathos and Iffy’s brave attempts (and success) at catching a greased up swine known as Twinkletoes Turbo, a stampede of excitable boars and a malfunctioning Shredder that did nothing other than fall apart before the group, the Keepers managed to escort the kodo safely to the Rampart and meet up with their contact, Gorgrush Angertusk.

The same Orc that had reported their failure at Razor Hill, Gorgrush seemed coldly amused that the group had succeeded following their orders to the letter and congratulated them on doing the work of two peons, despite their number. It wasn’t long before he had risen to the top of many Keepers’ lists of ‘people they do not like’.

With a sick glee in his step, the Orc handed over the group’s next orders - to cleanse Demon Fall Canyon of all traces of demonic influence. An impossible task, given the size and severity of the region. Even if the Keepers were to survive, the job would be near unending… And now it was clear that they were being toyed with.

Returning to Orgrimmar to consider their options, the Keepers now find themselves being contacted by an unknown figure, asking the adventurers to meet with her in the Goblin town of Ratchet.

Just who is Madame Xiu, and what reason does she have for reaching out…?

Onwards and upwards on our adventure and battle with contracts and bureaucracy! The Keepers now look to make contact with this mysterious Madame Xiu who seems to know a surprising amount of information about each of them.

Just who is this woman and what is she planning? Is she a friend or foe? The Keepers will find out soon enough!

Recruitment is still open for the time being but still preferably only towards characters that are not Elves. Save me. They’re everywhere. They’re in the walls! Maybe our current arc will see us opening our doors to some people who prefer to dress in blue… That will help balance out the Elf-ness. Surely!

As always, feel free to come RP with us if you catch us around Orgrimmar for the time being!

The Keepers are currently located in Ratchet in the Barrens and have had quite the busy week! Incoming update and it’s a big one, woops!

Accepting the summons of the unknown Madame Xiu, several of the Keepers made their way to the Goblin town of Ratchet to meet with the woman who had reached out to them all. It didn’t take long for a Tauren woman to approach and invite them into the tavern, explaining that she was the one that they had come to see.

It was clear that this Tauren was not Madame Xiu and it was swiftly revealed that she was a woman within the Madame’s employ, one of Xiu’s many assistants. While offering the Keepers a variety of beverages (as she had been instructed to take good care of the group), the assistant explained that Madame Xiu is a careful woman who only shows herself when absolutely necessary and so she had sent an assistant in her stead.

After much praise and, frankly, sucking up to the Keepers, the assistant finally revealed why Madame Xiu had reached out to them all. She saw them as a potential investment and, knowing of their recent struggles with receiving appropriate work from the Horde, decided now was the time to invest.

The offer was a simple one. The Keepers would become independent, no longer backed by Horde funding but instead receiving the gold they required from Madame Xiu. This independence would come with advantages, such as the group being the ones to decide on what happens to the relics they recover, rather than turning them in to the Horde. Do they keep them? Sell them? Destroy them? Lock them away? The choice would come down to the Keepers themselves…

Of course, Madame Xiu is a businesswoman and there would clearly be no advantage for her if that was all there was to the deal. The assistant revealed that, in exchange for her funding and this freedom, the Keepers may be asked to retrieve certain items deemed valuable on their travels for Xiu herself. Assured that these would simply be trinkets and baubles of monetary value, and not ‘super powerful evil death sticks’ as Iffy questioned, the group deemed this to be a reasonable arrangement.

As a show of good faith, the assistant brought forth the Earth Mother’s Urn - a relic that the Keepers of old had contemplated seeking before they opted to hunt for Onyxia’s Talon. Informed that Xiu wished for the Keepers to have the Urn as a show of good faith, the group agreed. It was revealed, however, that the relic appeared to have been corrupted by something or someone and was in need of purification. The assistant had already sought out the aid of a Shaman for this and a ritual site had been prepared. The Keepers agreed to the assistant’s offer of staying in Ratchet in order to rest, with the intention of purifying the Urn another day.

The day came for the Keepers to carry out the purification ritual and so the group set off from the Goblin town towards the mountain of Thunderhead! Their journey was different to their previous walk through the Barrens. They were cleansing a relic! Doing something that the Keepers actually sought to do. It felt right and the group seemed to be in good spirits.

Soon enough they came to their first hurdle - a group of slumbering prowlers, hunting raptors and patrolling Centaur blocking their path. Eyeing the potential threats and deciding which might be the easiest to face, Scythois opted to cast a silencing spell around the group, preventing them from making a single sound - even if they tried to! Remaining close to the Nightborne, the group were able to casually stroll past the slumbering felines and found themselves at the base of the mountain.

The climb was a little harder than they may have expected, with Hughy opting to practically crawl his way up through the dirt, Scythois utilising her magic to blink from fencepost to fencepost, Cha’zan showing some fancy footwork and squatting his way up (and seeming to enjoy the exercise!), while Isara and Kiera forced their limbs onwards without complaint!

Finally they reached the summit and found the ritual site that had been prepared with several satchels of stone and soil, and many bowls of rainwater and earth. Planting the urn atop a large slab of stone, the group stood back as the magical purification began. Almost like a snow-globe, the circle of offerings was assaulted by heavy rain, raging gusts and rumbling earth. Not a single droplet or stone moved out of the circle, even as the raging gust blew the offerings round and round. Then, the urn toppled and the lid came free!

Almost immediately, the Keepers were greeted with a rancid, acrid scent that practically burned at their senses and skin. Pouring forth from the Earth Mother’s Urn came a thick, viscous green liquid. Steam rose from it as it was expelled from the relic, and it carried that scent along as the ooze bubbled and thickened upon the dry earth. The puddle of ooze swiftly began to harden and shift, taking on a shape. Expanding upwards and outwards, it grew larger and larger and seemed to grow four limbs. The bubbling ooze extended, shaping into claws and a maw of sharp, burning, dripping fangs. The Keepers found themselves staring at a creature very similar to the prowlers they had avoided, only this one was made of whatever sickening substance had corrupted the relic!

Leaping into action, the Keepers readied themselves for a battle. The beast was agile and leapt over them, landing amidst the adventurers and, like a soaked dog trying to dry itself, shook its body around to fling acidic globs of its gooey form at them! When that didn’t work, it opted to use those dripping fangs and try to bite down on the Keepers, to puncture and burn at their flesh with its acidic slime!

As Cha’zan jumpedf orth as the group’s protector and Scythois summoned an illusionary army of the Zandalari Troll, the beast found itself struggling to find a target to truly strike. This allowed the rest of the Keepers to strike, with Hughy throwing several spires of earth, Kiera showing her own prowess at leaping and hacking at the beast’s neck with her hatchet, and Isara utilising dark tendrils to ensnare the beast before finally crushing it within them. The battle was won, leaving behind just a steaming puddle of stinky slime and the purified relic.

Returning to Ratchet and pouring some seawater into the Urn (and using Kiera’s boot to pour it in, even), Cha’zan bravely took a sip of the water within to see if it had been purified - and it had. He found himself sipping on a perfectly cool and clean glass of water. The relic had been restored and the Keepers excitedly chatted about what they might do with it! Now that their adventure of the day over, the group retired to the tavern once more with Hughy informing them that where was one last catch to working with Madame Xiu. He revealed that she did not just invest in members of the Horde and, by extension, the Keepers may have to be open to working alongside (or even with) some members of the Alliance. Reactions within the group were mixed thanks to the long history of bloodshed between the two factions but, though some were reluctant, it was agreed that what Xiu was offering was still the best path for the group at this time. With Madame Xiu’s funding backing the Keepers and allowing them to set off across the world once more, the time now comes for them to decide where, exactly, they will go next! And what will they seek to find?

The Keepers have accepted the backing of this mysterious Madame Xiu, despite the fact that it means they might be working with some members of the Alliance going forwards! What does this mean? It means we are working our way to becoming cross-faction! It’s still in the early days at the moment as we get a feel for things but expect an update on that soon!

Recruitment is still open for members of the Horde who are interested in joining us! We’re getting ready to set off on our next expedition, so now is a great time to get stuck in and come along for the adventure!

The votes are in and The Keepers are heading east towards Deadwind Pass in search of The Raven’s Crown! A mysterious relic said to empower the arcane brilliance of whoever wears it. Those gifted with spellcasting become absolute power houses when wearing this crown and, even more interesting, it grants those without the gift of arcane mastery the ability to cast magic, too!

With their sights set on the relic and with the backing of Madame Xiu funding their supplies, the Keepers set off on a familiar ship to the east… The Unsinkable Mk 2 has returned!

Once more onto the luxurious Unsinkable Mark 2 do the Keepers go! Setting sail from Ratchet, the Keepers found that the vessel had many more passengers than their previous time upon the ship and was decorated with flags, banners and a large, volleyball net in the middle of the deck.

With the sun high in the sky, the weather was absolutely perfect for a boat trip. As more passengers of all kinds boarded, including Humans, Night Elves, Forsaken and Gnomes, it was suddenly clear that the Keepers didn’t have the same private quarters as many of the other passengers.

Still, morale was (somewhat) high as the ship set off from Ratchet and began making its way east. Soon after (with Hughy darting off due to some stomach issues), the Keepers found themselves approached by a pair of Goblin twins…

Introducing themselves as The Bilgewater Babes, the Goblins explained that the ship was headed to Bogpaddle for a Volleybomb tournament between The Bilgewater Babes and The Steamwheedle Sharkettes.

It seemed that Hughy, in order to secure passage, had signed the Keepers up to act as training for The Bilgewater Babes and so, if they wanted to remain on the ship, they had to play the up-and-coming hit sport of Volleybomb.

Splitting off into teams, Cha’zan, Scythois and Koralash formed The Starry Hornswogs. Janec, Valensendra and Bugs formed The Speedy Seals and finally, Amaranthene, Sathos and Iffy formed The Knife Ears!

After some coin tossing, the matches began with The Bilgewater Babes facing off against The Starry Hornswogs. Koralash showed great prowess with their wings and tail, knocking the bomb consistently over the net. Scythois relied on her mastery of magic to send the bomb hurtling through rifts in order to confuse her opponents, while Cha’zan proved his athleticism with leaps and spins galore!

Alas, The Bilgewater Babes were not so easily defeated and with a mighty punch, Patty Bombershell knocked the bomb into Cha’zan where it promptly exploded, securing the twins their victory!

Next up were Keepers vs Keepers, with The Speedy Seals facing off against The Knife Ears! Bugs turned out to be a secret professional at the Volleybomb sport, even managing a Bugsball slam! Janec, with the coaching of his friends and experience of throwing flasks, found himself a natural and Valensendra utilised some Forsaken ingenuity (and body parts) to consistently keep the bomb on their opponents’ side!

The Knife Ears fought hard, with Iffy showing a great volleyball form, Amaranthene relying on her magic to keep the bomb away and Sathos managing a powerful spike on the opposing team…

But as all Volleybomb fans know, there are no rules to Volleybomb! Holding on to the bomb for a while, Valensendra waited out the ticking time before sending it hurtling over the net, where it promptly exploded and secured The Speedy Seals their victory.

Alas, in all of the carnage, the net came down which saw the final match of The Bilgewater Babes vs The Speedy Seals postponed until another day!

With The Bilgewater Babes impressed by the Keepers’ Volleybomb prowess, their hunger was sated and they left the group to enjoy their evening on the ship.

Now they continue sailing east in search of The Raven’s Crown, with the Volleybomb final match on the horizon.

Of course, this is all a ruse. We’re actually going to Vashj’ir! The characters just don’t know that yet! A shorter expedition is afoot as we prepare to go beneath the waves and explore some of Azeroth’s most unique zones. What will we find under the sea? Who knows!?

The Keepers have landed(?) in the depths of Vashj’ir! Hurrah! With the group splintered from the sinking of their ship, a few have teamed up with a Night Elven passenger who appeared to be travelling on the Unsinkable Mk 2 with them.

For now, the group focus on finding those that are missing and figuring out a way to escape the depths of the sea. Swimming up seems sensible but there sure are a lot of murky, giant shadows swimming above…

The second leg of the journey to Bogpaddle saw the Unsinkable Mk 2 do the presumed impossible. It sank.

A drunken crewman working on the phalange, spilling oil and trying to light a cigar. The Bilgewater Babes in a vicious argument beside a pile of explosives and munitions. And a Goblin fisherman, looking to haul treasures of the sea with a net.

There were several things of concern on the deck of the Unsinkable Mk 2 this day… But it was the Goblin fisherman that proved to be the ship’s undoing. Pulling free his catch from the water, a glowing spiral seashell with a tip shaped like an instrumental horn was pulled from the waters. The Goblin took little interest in the item but for some of the Keepers, their interest was piqued!

Valensendra, Scythois and Bugs rushed to inspect the shell, eager to discover its wonders. Why did it glow? Was it some kind of bioluminesence? Was it arcane? After some prodding and poking, the result was unsure. Bugs, however, discovered that if you held it up to your ear, it sang a beautiful, sorrowful melody in a soft, feminine voice…

Alas, the melody seemed to bring with it a side effect. Leaving a sense of longing, the Keepers soon found each other’s company unbearable. As soured comments shifted to arguments, the weather began to follow suit. Rolling in high above came dark clouds and as members of the group began to yell at each other, the clouds unleashed a torrent of rain, battering gusts and blinding lightning.

Despite being in the midst of the magical storm, more Keepers found themselves falling to the magic of the shell as the melody was carried along with the wind. Insults were thrown, curses were cast… At one point, it looked like Valensendra might even set the boat alight!

In the end, the storm, seemingly spurred on by the Keepers’ anger and frustrations, struck true. As lightning hit the ship itself, the wood began to splinter. The damage was severe. Breaking apart into pieces, the Unsinkable Mk 2 began to capsize, with some of the Keepers finding themselves tumbling into the hold while others fell overboard… And as the ship began to sink, everything went dark.

Stirring to the sound of trickling water, the group found themselves awakening in the upside-down hold of the Unsinkable. Surrounded by soaked supplies, goods and signs of other passengers, the groaning of wood and steel signalled that the wreck of the ship wasn’t going to remain safe for much longer.

Thankfully Bugs (with her water loving ways) had a solution. With a pot of her very own Spiralung Balm, made by the elusive aquatic plant Spiralung (of course), she was able to grant the Keepers a temporary affinity to water, allowing them to survive in the depths of the seas. Leaving the ship, the Keepers found that a large bubble formed around their mouths and nose, like a mask that allowed them to breathe. Goblin ingenuity at its finest! Of course, there were side effects. Rashes, skin peeling into gills… and for one unlucky Keeper, oozing boils littering their neck.

Swimming out into the depths, the Keepers found that they were upon the ocean floor. Looking up was nothing but darkness, making it impossible to judge how far up the swim would be… Not to mention the moving shadows of sea creatures and sea monsters. Who could say what the group would face if they tried their luck?

Opting instead to try and find their allies and other survivors of the ship, the Keepers instead swam towards a warm glowing light akin to firelight. Leading them to a small underwater cavern, they discovered the light didn’t come from fire but from a glowing plant hanging from the ceiling…

While it wasn’t quite what they were hoping for, the cave at least had some air and the group could use it as a spot to rest while they figured out what to do next and how exactly they would escape the depths of the sea!

Our third expedition is officially underway! We’ll be doing some rapid fire events to keep things moving here. It might be difficult for people to join up while we’re splashing in Azeroth’s largest pool but we can still prepare for new recruits when we return! If you’re interested in joining up with The Keepers for some adventures, do give me a poke. If I’m not online, feel free to send me a wave on discord!

One of the plans being to put our artist skills to the test and make a huge sign outside of the cave. If you’re having your summer holiday in Vashj’ir and see a bright glowing sign with “Keepers” on it, keep on swimming. :octopus:
