The Beastmaw have embarked on a new adventure - this time with a frosty survival theme in Winterspring. We have boarded a zeppelin to take us there from Azshara.
Events are still happening on Thursdays and Sundays at 20:00 gametime, feel free to send me a whisper if you want to drop in!

Good news: we’re still in Winterspring!
Bad news: we’re still in Winterspring!
And we might never leave, unless they drag me screaming from the DM’s chair, with it being so fun.

The crisis in Winterspring seems close to resolved, with the one remaining hurdle being the involvement of a giant harpy an evil spirit a Mawsworn who has been riling up feral undead and suppressing all things wild in the southern areas of the region. The Warband races back to a cavern hideout to assist newfound allies there with the defenses against the creature’s final push!
At least we haven’t run into any hostile night elves.

The feral undead found in Winterspring have been dealt with, as well as the Mawsworn that was rallying them. Huge thanks to Koll for DMing an awesome survival-themed campaign in the snow!
The Beastmaw will soon be returning to Orgrimmar for a well-deserved shore leave, tis there that we can be found.

Feels like much longer since we’ve been in Northrend. But we’re here now, and it feels nostalgic. Warsong Hold is getting some action >:D

The Warband is still at Warsong Hold, and Scourge activity is picking up again. Their tactics seem to imply they are going to attempt to besiege the fortress. The undead host marches into the tundra under the will of a broken frost wyrm. Meanwhile, we are awaiting the return of our small expedition of champions that ventured to Oribos to figure out what is happening on that front.
We’ll likely be wrapping up our Shadowlands story over the next few weeks, after which the sky of Icecrown will be considered restored IC for us.
Edit: Happy birthday, guild!

Chronicled by Talekeeper Guln:
The fighting continues in Borean Tundra, with a sizeable Scourge host having now besieged Warsong Hold for close to a month. Thanks to the involvement of a displaced Maldraxxi, whom we aided in returning to the Shadowlands, seeing a glimpse of his realm, we found out the name of our enemy: the previously feral Scourge are bound and led by an intelligent mind, the powerful will projected forth from a broken frostwyrm by the name of Indigosa. Her operation has sabotaged the nearby Alliance and stolen incredibly precious blue dragon eggs so as to prevent interference. We tried to send a zeppelin in what seemed like momentary triumph over the undead, but it was shot down. Indigosa wants the Horde to surrended a single object to her, which would aid in her desired ascension: the reanimated head of the mogu, Henduo Jian.
Poor choice of words, Indigosa.
The Horde never surrenders!*
And right after we spotted the eggs, we launched a plan to disrupt her anti-magic field with good old fashioned bullets, and then conjure the eggs to us with our own magic. You can probably guess what happens to someone who keeps dragon eggs hostage, and then loses the hostages.
((*except when we’re losing a BG))

We’re going on a FIELD TRIP to Sholazar Basin, where we can enjoy WARM CLIMATES, GREEN THINGS, and most importantly, DINOSAURS!
Morale is higher than it has been all year

I have been ordered to issue a correction. The dinosaur was Wexter, and he’s been with us the entire time. I was simply very excited to see him as always.
In other news, we’ve obtained a demon hunter who was lost in Sholazar, very confused about the date. Lissy is taking care of him, but if anyone here has lost a young blood elf with a demon soul, please reach out. We’re headed back to Warsong Hold from which we’ll sail halfway across Northrend very soon.

We are slowly leaving Northrend after a few lengthy seasons of Scourge hunting and Scourge-adjacent plotlines. The Beastmaw are currently investigating an attempted cursing of our own Stone Guard which has so far taken us back to Orgrimmar.
Afterwards, we will be spending the launch of Dragonflight in sort of a timeskip campaign, covering the three-year skip between the expansions by only hosting the major events that will have happened to the Warband in that time by way of one-shot and two-shot events. I am also compiling a private timeline of what each member wants to happen to their guild characters in that time, in order to include their personal events as well. =)

Great news. Wexter is still alright. When asked about the three year leap forward, and how we’ll fit it to our contiguous roleplay, Wexter said the following:
RRrrrrrrrrRRRRRRRRRRRRrrrrrrroooooooooooooorrrrRRRRRRRRRRRRrrrrrrrrrrr.
Thank you, Wexter.

We’ve wrapped up our final plotline for the expansion! Fitting with all the crazy things that happened to us throughout Shadowlands, it took us to the unlikely place that is Quel’thalas, where we found out the Amani that had placed a curse on our Stone Guard. Being the last event of the expansion, we’ve commemorated it with a few guild screenshots. Big thanks to Shakela for DMing over the last few weeks!

The timeskip is happening - three IC years condensed into roughly two months. The first mini-arc covers the Beastmaw returning to a small island they discovered during the Fourth War in search of Azerite. There, they will build a permanent outpost to return to in order to train, rest and raise the war beasts in a free environment that is less inhospitable to the animals than Durotar.
We have named it Crescent Fang Island, due to its peculiar shape, and we have already chosen a place for our Great Hall.
And it’ll stay there until Blizzard give us player & guild housing, kkthx. <_<

The time on the Dragon Isles thus far has been short but eventful since arriving with the other guilds. The Beastmaw have already done one short fetch job for the Dragonscale Expedition, which served to also give us the lay of the land. We also came across a golden-scaled Dracthyr, wounded amid a field of raging wind elementals and devoid of memories. While trying to discern whether he was friend or foe, we investigated an Explorer campsite ravaged by Djaradin, who were given a taste of the Horde’s fury.
We finally left the Wingrest Embassy, and have now joined a permanent camp in the vicinity of the Ruby Life Pools.

Continuing to trek south, the Warband has made camp in the outskirts of the Expedition Basecamp. It looks like the next destination will be the open grasslands of the Ohn’aran Plains, driven in that direction by shamanistic visions guiding towards worthy beasts to tame. Meanwhile, Reith, our amnesiac Dracthyr, was discovered to have once been with the Sundered Flame…
