[H-RP] The Forlorn Order

And so the Operation: Crimson Thunder campaign has been concluded, with the Sacking of Purgation Isle. This guild storyline started in October 2020, so bringing it to an end together was a rather emotional and satisfying experience with all the ups and downs we’ve had along the way. Big thanks to the entire guild and whoever was involved in anything preceding this campaign. Special thanks to Sixtus for DMing some parts of it all and NPCing for the events!

With the recent campaign wrapped up, the Forlorn Order is taking a small breather with some more casual RP and one off events. We are also once again open for recruitment, so if you are interested in some very cool zombie RP, get in touch with one of our officers to learn more! We look forward to hearing from you!

A breather they said, a break after campaign they said.

We are meeting out friends of Vanguard of the Light this week to sum up mini campaign that we took part in but also exchange medical knowledge and engage our medics into discovering new ways to craft medicines and mend wounds.

Casual trips are possibly planned up ahead and few less casual events are being schemed, meanwhile we are usually around Sepulcher for rp so don’t be afraid to come around and say hello!

You know that old saying about how you can sleep when you’re dead? Turns out you can’t!

And thus closes our recruitment once more, with five new recruits. We will inform you all when we open again!

Last night the Forlorn Order ventured into a strange vault of secrets to aid one of the Forsaken that wanted to preserve memories of her husband and recover the diary locked within. Our encounters with wandering mages are quite a wild ride but despite wariness the majority of gathered last night Order agreed to aid and had lots of fun with it by the end. Thanks to our DM for preparing another challenge for us!

Mid February we have another short campaign coming and meanwhile smaller events are most likely to occur. There is not a small amount of casual rp either or project that individuals of the guild engage into. While our recruitment is once again closed for the time being, to let new people settle in we are always more than happy to RP in Sepulcher (or any place where our guild has ventured for the time being).

A promotion ceremony was held tonight at Thoradin’s Wall. Two new members ascended into the ranks of the Order officially: Sir Sihtric Liekos and Abliris Schwartz. Mordris and Bryna Terfel got promoted, the former to Exemplar and the latter to Sworn.

In addition to that, Sir Florian knighted two individuals to carry the knighthood of Lordaeron: sir Sihtric Liekos and Bryna Terfel.

Medals from the two past campaigns with the Argent Crusade and the Scarlet Crusade conflict were handed over as well.

The opening speech held by sir Florian:

Behind and in front of us, stands one of the oldest structures humankind has ever known. A structure, that was erected to shield the first human kingdom of Arathor, the kingdom that later on became the empire of our forefathers. Thoradin’s Wall, raised by King Thoradin of the Arathor tribe, was the first shield of humanity thousands of years ago, against the Amani trolls. Like the Fists of the Order, the Wall’s purpose was to protect the civilians and the kingdom from any incursions laid by the enemy. See, how the mighty structure still stands, after all the years. Through many wars, invasions, the fall of the northern kingdoms…. We should look up to it, as something to admire and empower us. Inspire us to prevail, no matter what. Inspire us to leave an everlasting mark on these lands, even after centuries of our passing.

Like the Wall was the shield of humanity, we are the shield of the Forsaken. Defenders of the lost and the reunited, of our purpose. The Order has stood through trials of the desolate Northrend, won a war against the Scarlet Crusade against all odds, all while valiantly protecting the civilians of Lordaeron and aided those in need. Let the Wall be a symbol of where we all have come from, and where we stand now. Perhaps ruined through time, but yet, here we are.

Triumphant, united and ready to press on, for Lordaeron.

The Forlorn Order is keeping busy. This weekend we’re trying something new and running an early afternoon event as a kind of experiment and then we’ve got some great events on the program for next week as well. The week after that? We got another campaign!

On Wednesday, a bunch of Nerubians had somehow breached the Crypt of the Sepulcher. Thankfully, they were slaughtered alongside with their leader, who was no ordinary Nerubian… yours truly got KOd too since this event was also a test run for our new combat system. More events to test it out coming this week and next week we’ll start yet another guild campaign!

Not even a screeching horde of undead insectoids can wake Bryna Terfel, Knight of Lordaeron.

Currently campaigning in the remote village of Zorsel, trying to solve a tie of mysteries surrounding a plague that has turned the residents into ghoul-like beings. We will return to the Sepulcher next week again!

With our guild campaign finished, we’re having a week off now to reload our batteries. Next week we will be attending a campaign with our allies in the Ashen Bulwark. Time to smack some ogres!

The Forlorn Order is currently in the Blasted Lands, fighting the ogre menace alongside our Ashen Bulwark allies. It has been a great campaign so far with some great events and it all comes to its conclusion tonight!

The Ogre campaign is done and dusted. Several members of the Order got special commendations for their brave deeds on the war effort. The zombies were kicking butt!

In the ceremony, the new Ashen Commander and Ashen Herald were appointed. The mantle of the latter is now upon yours truly and the former is on Captain De’vontae Autumnvale of the Thalassian Skyguard. A new age for the Bulwark under the leadership of two tall bois awaits!

Big thanks to our ally guilds in the Bulwark for this campaign! It was a blast to DM to you all and special thanks to Tialis and the rest of the DM team!

It certainly was an explosive ending.

Despite the horrors you personally faced Flo, there’s no need to worry, it’s all ogre now.

Yours truly is now directly responsible for growing the Sepulcher’s exclusive, one-of-a-kind supply of Pined Apples! You can’t touch them. They’re ours. Ours!

You are just hanging apples from the pines aren’t you?

Earlier this week the Order travelled to Ratchet to sail our new vessel from there to the Rear Guard in Silverpine. A Boralus-built schooner of House Treiller, owned by yours truly.

The re-naming of the ship sparked a proper discussion among the members…

SV North Tide Tempest is now ours and awaits fixing and customising her for the Order’s needs.
