These undead sure are popular, and it’s fully understandable when meeting them.
Keep up the good work! One day Everything north of Thandol Span will be Horde!
Thank you for the kind words friend. We look forward to seeing the Orcs of the Red Blade some time in the hopefully not too distant future
The Forlorn Order recently took part in pushing back a massive Scourge force that had its sights set on Tyr’s Hand alongside our elven allies from Blazing Phoenix and the Thalassian Skyguard and our allies in the Argent Dawn, the Vanguard of the Light. Thank you to all of our friends who showed up to RP with us and a special thank you to Vanguard of the Light for being such graceful hosts.
With the Scourge forces taken care of for the time being, the Order has travelled to Highmountain to gather regents for our medics and apothecaries and see how the Highmountain Tauren attempt to heal the land after the last Legion incursion. The Order hopes that while there they can maybe learn something that will help in the restoration of Lordaeron.
So we will be out of town for the next couple of days, but we will be back in Silverpine Forest this weekend if anyone in interested in visiting us. Recruitment is still closed, but we do still enjoy visitors.
Tonight the Order set sail to Northrend to do a guild campaign based around Storm Peaks and the titan secrets. Our garden at the Sepulcher has been powered by a few crystals from Sholazar Basin, but as the winter approaches us, their powers have started to fade…
We are having yet another busy week packed with all sorts of events as our DMs come up with intriguing stories to tell. Only some time ago the Order returned from Northrend, where they visited Ulduar in search of means that could help them cleanse the lands of the Forsaken. Shortly after we scavenged materials after the battle that took place at the gates of Shadowfang. Meanwhile the Order reminds in Sepulcher for now with campaigns looming in the distance. And finally - today few of our members received well deserved promotions!
Congratulations!
Ulduar! What a sight that was, literally titanic ruins built by a race of incomprehensible power. Those crystals we plundered will be put to good use for sure…
I’ve been with these folks for more than a year now and every week has been a blessing!
Another pro-Lordaeron speech held by yours truly at the promotion ceremony on 1.12.
As we all know, our duty binds us to this landscape, to these lands. Our duty for Lordaeron, for our people living in these ruined lands, despite the Banshee’s betrayal still quite fresh in our array of wounds. Gaze upon the noble landmark known as the Bulwark, separating the Eastweald from the heart of Lordaeron. Once our people’s last bastion of defense and might against the Scourge, now a structure that reminds us of those days. Yet, its purpose stands.
It shares a goal with the Order as a major structure of defense in the coming days of prosperity for Lordaeron. Like the Bulwark, we safeguard and work for these lands so they could bloom once more, by the efforts of our people. To Forsaken still bound to their old homes, it is an honour to stand here, in the last bastion. With the Order, with the Eagle of Lordaeron firm in our chests, upon our still hearts, which only beat in our minds for the kingdom.
Far and wide, do the wings reach. Under their golden guard, many have ascended into the Order. Tonight, two individuals who have proven themselves to be worthy rebuilders of the Forsaken and Lordaeron, will formally gain their places in the ranks of the Order, as Pledged.
After one of our own was ambushed by forest trolls that had pushed into the Hillsbrad Foothills, the Forlorn Order set out for a retaliatory expedition against the Vilebranch Tribe. We didn’t get to take as many troll heads as we wanted to, but did discover that something much more sinister is afoot in the Hinterlands with a mysterious emissary from the north arriving in Jintha’Alor recently. Whatever is afoot, the Forlorn Order will (hopefully) put a stop to it.
A week ago we also finished the last pre-campaign event for our Scarlet storyline’s wrap up megacampaign in January. Thanks to our dear allies in the Crimson Vanguard for nuking some crimson bastards with us in Hillsbrad!
I’m Sergeant Terfel and this is my favourite guild on the Citadel World of Warcraft RP server Argent Dawn EU.
did you mean Squire Terfel >:)
Despite Forlorn Order slowing down pace for the xmas break and New Year we will still be around rping so don’t hesitate to come around Sepulcher and interact with our lots. We want to build an open hub where people can find RP in Eastern Kingdoms most of the evenings, join our stories or even events without any pressure or need of joining the guild itself.
We will be paying attention to some Winter Veil celebrations soon with allied guilds but also thanks to our lovely crumble baker - secret santa! Who said that Undead can’t have some festive celebrations too?
Coming into next year I heard there is plenty planned ahead, campaigns, events and plots but you would have to hear from our officers to yet reveal any details.
Tonight marks the last night of Winter Veil celebrations with our friends and allies in the Ashen Bulwark, so tomorrow we will back home in Silverpine where we belong! As Lightwhisper said, things will be slowing down a bit over the next 2 weeks due to the holidays, but we will still be around and we will still be running events, so if you feel like some RP over the holidays but don’t have anyone to RP with, don’t be a stranger and drop by the Sepulcher. Old friend or new, we look forward to seeing you!
Big thanks to our Allies in the Ashen Bulwark for the nice Winter Veil gathering in Everlook! A good way to enter the holiday spirit.
No “yetis” were hurt in the process.
Tonight we wrapped up our last event before we take a short break for the holidays. We will be back doing events on the 26th (I did say a short break) No rest for the wicked and all that.
Happy new year folks! Got lots of stuff planned for spring 2022, looking forward to it!
The rest of January is going to be busy for the guild with a mini campaign hosted by our Argent allies starting tomorrow and our 2 week long guild campaign to wrap up the year-long Scarlet Crusade storyline starting next week. We will not be that present at the Sepulcher until early February when you can find us properly stationed there again!
This time the Forlorn Order joined our allies in the Argent Crusade and assisted the Vanguard of the Light in Northrend. While united forces managed to take down Scourge forces and secure the victory the Lich responsible for it all got away into frozen Icecrown. With limited resources and exhausted troops it was only logical to retreat for the time being and prepare for the inevitable rematch that may yet to come.
There is no rest for the wicked and the Forlorn Order shortly after ventured into Highlands to answer the call from Executor Ravenbridge and watch over reconstruction of buildings near the farms. Despite sour memories of the place where the Order crashed against the Scarlets and almost suffered terrible losses, they are determined to aid Forsaken people. Rebuild and reform from the ruins.
We have also added a new rank to our roster - Associate. For those Undead within the Order that have not yet joined us IC as fully pledged members but have on numerous occasions assisted our cause.
The first part of our campaign was finished tonight, with the zealous forsaken finally coming out to cull the town of Tarren Mill for their crimson overlords after successfully sabotaging the Mill’s leadership and the farmers with their puppets in earlier events. The Order managed to interrogate a Forsaken Paladin, by the name of Rogatien Vaurmand, who turned against his Dame at the last crucial moment. Who will take the next step, the Order or the Scarlet Crusaders stationed in Gilneas?
Tomorrow we thankfully have a rest day before entering the second phase of the storyline.
RIP Executor Ravenbridge
The second phase of the campaign has been finished as we did a sneaky mission to kill the Scarlets who protected the resettlers they had brought to Tirisfal. Next up is phase three and our return to Silverpine Forest.
So far I have posted reports on the events I have DMed to the Argent Archives and will continue to do so until the end of the campaign.
The Forlorn Order is back home in Silverpine and it has been anything but boring so far. Poisoned villagers, assassination attempts, sharp shooters hiding in the mountains, intrigue and counter-intrigue, you name it. This campaign has it all. We’ll be looking to wrap up this weekend and then the zombies have earned themselves a short moment of respite. I hear there’s a ceremony in Tyr’s Hand that we’re invited to and I also heard there will be refreshments. Refreshments sounds nice right about now
