With the Midsummer Fire Festival coming to an end soon and we’ve just arrived in Orgrimmar, we thought it’d be nice to hold a short ceremony for the festival in honour of An’she (I’ve not noticed many do this yet, so thought it’d be nice)
It’s open to everyone in the Horde. We will need to be in a raid group for some parts of it (raid pins etc), but I doubt we will go over it (if we do, I may have to ask someone to create a second raid group and I can pop over the the necessary bits when needed).
Anyway, details are below.
If you’d like to bring your own fireworks to set off after the short ceremony, feel free (it seems to be how it’s celebrated by most on Azeroth!).
Date: 2nd July

Elder Crone arrives in Orgrimmar - Story
The Elder Crone arrived in Orgrimmar on her Kodo.
Her eyes wide in awe.
She had thought Stonetalon was a distance away from home… but Orgrimmar was a different world.
Never before had she travelled so far away from the lush forests of Feralas. She had heard of the inhospitable parts of Kalimdor, but her tribe being reclusive as well as not seeing the need for ever leaving a place the Earth Mother had always provided her meant she had never quite believed such places had existed.
Walking through the gates she scowled at the metal spikes and tapped her Kodo gently whispering into it’s ear to remain calm amongst the hustle and bustle of the Orcs shouting orders, Goblins screeching at each other about being cheated out of gold… the eloquent yet incomprehensible language spoken by the Blood Elves she passed… she stopped suddenly as one of the Elves gave her a dirty look, she returned the dirty look twofold at the Elf and gently nudged her Kodo to continue.
She continued walking on her Kodo, awed by such grand structures yet sad the land had been tainted by the remnants of industry left behind from Garrosh’s rule.
She continued her walk to the Valley of Wisdom, a place she knew may resemble somewhat, that with which she was familiar.
She was pleased to see the braziers dotted around the city, celebrating Midsummer Fire Festival as she continued her walk until she finally arrived at Miwana’s Longhouse and dismounted.
The Elder Crone warmly greeted Miwana and asked where should could put her belongings and if her Kodo could be cared for.
The Innkeeper nodded and advised the Elder on everything she had enquired about.
Finally settled she walked out to the fire just outside of the Longhouse and began speaking to Sagorne Crestrider and Terga Earthbreaker.
She began asking how the spiritual folk of Orgrimmar celebrate the festival of Midsummer.
Being informed how many in the city simply celebrated by setting off fireworks she was dismayed. She then enquired how many of the Shu’halo had celebrated in a more traditional manner.
She grunted at the response.
“Very well” she stood as she looked at the fellow Shaman around the fire by the Longhouse.
She sought out Neikku and Truun, and requested they let others within the city know of her intentions to hold a short and respectful ceremony honouring An’she during the festival for all who are interested.
I wonder who the goblins are that stole your stones. Would be a shame if something… Happend to them.
Also on a completly diffrent note, Gearfist will be happy to provide* any aid as you guys come to Orgrimmar for free*
Provide = Sell
Free = Heavily discounted
Great to see Tauren Rp hubs going and growing as you guys do. <3
Had a wonderful time in Hearthglen today!
Our prayers to the fallen were done by Neikku Ragetotem (Who called out to the Earthmother), Ahote Dawnbringer (Who called out to An’she) and Akule Foresthorn (Who called out to Mu’sha). The idea of balance is very prominent in tauren culture and central to the Spiritwood Tribe, so our prayer had to show it.
We thank The Tirisfallen guild and Corvenus for giving us a chance to speak at their wonderful event!
I loved the trinity of the body and the two eyes you brought forth, and seeing the passion you guys have for the lore behind them <3 Thanks for coming by!
Well, we’ve arrived in Highmountain, picked up some old friends along the way.
Had a lovely welcoming dinner… which was gatecrashed by Harpies setting fire to us, throwing stones and killing Highmountain Protectors as well as stealing Eagles!
All of this as we were saying congratulations to Neikku for rising into one of our Tribes Council advisors roles! (Sorry Neikku! But congratulations!).
We’re in Highmountain, feel free to say hi.
If you’re interested in joining us, please feel free to mail or whisper, Ahote, Neikku or myself, Akulé.
Thank you to everyone who came tonight, from the Tribe and our friends!
Was a fairly extended adventure tonight, but was fun battling cursed eagles, Harpies (and killing an aspiring Harpy queen), Drogbar and above all rescuing some puppy eyed eagle chicks (which one nameless tribes-member attempted to kill, I shall not name and shame ).
Next, we’re waiting to find out some information on the weapons left behind by the Drogbar and then we’ll be moving on out after that!
Still some time to go here in Highmountain, so if you’d like to say hello (particularly if you rp a Tauren / Highmountain), feel free!
Last adventure in Highmountain and it’s great to see more and more joining in with us. We’ve a solid number at each event and the guild environment is amazing! (Thank you everyone).
Tonight (and during our time in Highmountain). we finally got our hands on one of the lost elemental stones, we rescued a small number of Highmountain Tribes members and we eradicated a Drogbar and Harpy threat and delivered harsh justice.
It was a brutal encounter tonight but we’re off to get the next stone.
Guild members are voting so can update on here when the final votes are in.
If you’re ever interested in Tauren rp, come along and say hi
Feel free to send a letter in game or join our discord any time
Tonight we arrived back in Feralas, where we were attacked by Gnolls, Apes, an Army of the Black Moon Druid, Mountain Giant and ghosts, who were distressed and lashing out.
We travelled to Isildien to find some Elves performing void magics, but too tired from the past encounters to deal with the threat, we retreated to our Tribes safe camp to rest and heal.
If you’re in Feralas, feel free to say hello (even if you’ve black eyes, but if you’re a druid we likely will be very hesitant!).
