Hairdress in fresh

It would be nice to have hairdress in fresh since it doesnt affect anything. Maybe increase price for gold dump.

Or play hardcore. New hair every couple of hours, for free.

Fine if on anniversary or SoD, not in Era.

And before you ask why - Because once you start tinkering with the game, when does it stop?

Think of it as a “once you pop, you just can’t stop”.

it doesnt realy afect anything exept economy if it will cost for example 100 gold

Why do you need a hairdresser?

Didn’t say he needed. Just wanted.

This. Fashion and pvp are the real end game of any mmo.

try out different colors with different armor sets which looks better.

Most retail comment I have ever seen in these forums. No offence.

On the one hand it’d make perfect sense, as pretty much any woman and definitely some men can attest to  It’s not that hard to change your hairstyle, hair colour or jewelery in the real world so why would it be impossible in game?

At the same time the oldschool games had an emphasis on recognition, of gear and of characters themselves. You’d instantly know what or who something/someone was. I’ve always liked that element, even if I appreciate the barbershop in retail. Personally I’m fine with having no barber in Classic but I understand the request.

Flying mounts, summoning stones and dual spec - just to mention a few - doesnt “do” anything… nice QoL improvements but it is not Era. A hard no!

Do whatever you want to SoD and Fresh. Era is #No(More)Changes.

those are actually do but cosmetics dont. dont be dramatic. im sure youl be the first one to run to dressroom XD

I am making a point that changing something in Era would open up for other things to be changed as well, hence the #NoChanges part.

For Anniversary and SOD etc. - where #SomeChanges is a thing - it would be just fine.

I think, since it’s something that could be done in the store, like char transfers, it obviously doesn’t influence the game itself.

And it’s extremely understandable if people don’t want to replay 30-60 levels only to change their hair colour, only because they made a minor mistake during char creation and it ruins their experience. Especially when Anniversary runs only for 12 months and there is no time for it. And levelling itself really gets old after 20 years anyway…

There’s no reason not to add some kind of char recostumization tbh. Especially if there’s dual spec now, which also increases the fun of the game without actually altering the gameplay itself. Which is especially great for healers and tanks.

As for transmog, I’m not a fan. Unless it’s something that can be turned off in the menu, akin to the “show helm” and “show cloak” options. Because it kind of alters the gameplay if you can’t see the gear of your opponents. And it hides the progress, etc.

TLDR:

  1. Add a barber.
  2. Add dual spec.
  3. If tmog is added, make it possible to disable it with a “show tmog” option in the menu, akin to “show helm” and “show cloak”. Only that “show tmog” then applies to all players.

All to Anniversary only.

Dual spec is here already. And xmog should never be in classic vanilla, it ruins too much.
