Hi. Im new to Classic and never played Vanilla. And no im not gonna boost.
Im having problem finding groups for dungeons, well the one i can do is RFC . Im on the ”Looking for groups” channel and its mostly people writing about boosts and things i dont understand.
It always ends up i get tired of waiting so im leaving.
Do you guys have any tips for me how to get into groups faster?Or is it dead by now with low levels? Im on a medium populated pvp server.
I have played retail for too long so im superClassicnoob.
Hey buddy, it can be daunting and tough when you’re new, but you’ll get it. There are going to be so many dungeon runs from the 18th when prepatch hits it will get easier.
You can reroll on a high population realm. I am playing Alliance in Firemaw, and there are some groups for most instances, even in late hours.
But be prepared, to deal with long queues, when TBC is released.
Use /who to search for people around your level and then whisper them to ask if they want to do a specific dungeon. If you ask about 30-50 people you’ll normally find most of what you need for a group .
I must have whisphered hundreds of people and never got one nasty reply. Many people dont reply. Many don’t reply, some say no, some say no but thank you for asking maybe next time, some say yes.
Dragonfang would be the best server for you. There are much less booster there and the server is kind of fresh due to the Fresh Crusade project. Many people still leveling and will be and population is nice but not overpopulated.
The game is kinda very stagnant nowadays because we are literally in the last few days before the TBC release, so a lot of people that will play a lot in a few days are spending their time with their irl responsibilities/family etc. right now.
It is basically the silence before the storm. If you try to join a dungeon group after 18th of May I’m sure there will be infinite amounts of people trying to do dungeons and quests etc. around.
With the AH down for 5 days it’s almost mission impossible to level a toon right now…unless you don’t mind using grey gear, zero consumes and having barely enough coin to pay for skill ups.
As for finding groups, it’ll get way better when the prepatch comes (19th). There will be legions of Dranei and Belves leveling up and looking for boosts…erhm I mean groups.
From now until the 19th it’s pretty much the worse time to play the game ever
Oh and also XP per level get’s nerfed with the prepatch. 30% less XP per level I believe from 1 to 60.
