Harder dungeons

Please give us harder dungeons, for dot classes its not even worth using dots, my living bomb rarely gets to go off as mobs die before that even at 3000~3500 gs, for spriest most dots are waste of mana as the mobs dont last long enough, dont have a lock so dont know about them.

Use Shadowbolt or something instead? Or frostfire thing as a mage.

Yeah… but then you could also play a class that is dungeon friendly, and if we do get harder dungeons, some other class will complain the fights last too long and they dont get optimal dps.

I do get what you’re asking, but it comes down to rebalancing the game and class abilities.

with any class dungeons are way too easy

Then take of your gear or something… kek

They were going to introduce mythic dungeons, I believe.

Harder dungeons are almost certain to come in WOTLK Classic:

They will probably drop 10man raid loot for previous raid tier.

Wotlk dungeons are known to be fairly easy since they are designed for green/blue geared players to gear up for the first raids. Its only logical that the packs will die faster, once the content is heavily outgeared.

My personal advice in a good geared group is to only use aoe abilities for the packs and keep your single target spells for the bosses.

If they bring 10man naxx loot in heroic+, while buffing every single ulduar gear ilvl wise, the 200ilvl loot from these dungeons will be close to useless, since it wont be enough for ulduar, being harder than naxx10, while granting the same loot. While I get the idea why heroic+ has its uses, I am skeptical about the announced implementation.

This is why nobody believes that Heroic+ will be a substantial upgrade in difficulty as it’s meant as a catch-up mechanic you run those, get Naxx10 gear and then do Naxx10 so you can get Naxx25 loot so you’re more easily and quickly prepared for Ulduar. And to serve that purpose Heroic+ will need to be easier than Naxx10

I guess at this point they should just say f classic we make WoW v2 based on WOTLK and we move forward from that.

Wasnt the game lately that did exactly that? I think it was Aion or something classic. They just re-develop the game again starting from classic pattern and doing updates using those principles.

I thought the classic versions of the game they gonna re-release will be as close as possible to the original, without heroic+ and other stuff like that.

Offtopic …

Why the hell doesnt living bomb explode when your target dies … that makes so much sense and would fit with rest of the fire aoe gameplay … making it deal dmg only when it ends was one of the dumbest ideas …

I don’t normally agree with you, but you’re right here. I always thought living bomb did explode on death because why on earth wouldn’t it?

That makes me all warm and fuzzy :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

You can clear the trash quite quickly with just a tank and healer if you have a Warrior or Paladin tank, don’t even need dps. The main reason the dungeons are so easy tho is precisely due to that, all roles got massively buffed throughout WOTLK while the dungeons only got nerfed.

So we’re doing massively easier versions of the original dungeons, that were already considered easy during their day.

I mean if you want that you should try retail M+.

Harder dungeons won’t happen in WoTLK, they might just scale the hp/dmg.

Welp, I think they pulled through with class rebalancing, seeing the first class changes in the datamined spells?

No matter how “difficult” the new versions of the heroics are, everything will still be lumped together and annihilated by AoE.

On one of the largest private servers, with the letter “W”, there was a mythical difficulty of 5 ppl. So they took longer than the naxx, because the difficulty was very high. Every class was required to give their best. Paladins should have had BOP to remove bleeds and debuffs, as they ticked 3-5k. Hunts had to remove enrage, otherwise the boss would break. Everyone was required to control, and so on. I miss it from time to time…

If dungeons were like that, why would you even do them instead of Naxx, unless they also dropped better gear than Naxx?

You know you’re basically saying the whole reason to play the game is improving your gear, instead of enjoying yourself?

Gear is neat as it offers a sense of progression and becoming stronger, but at the end of the day it would be weird to be playing a game for gear that gets obsolete in a few months anyway.

There is only one reason - passion.

Isn’t that what the pvp is for while we kill dragons in PvE to get shiny armor?
