Or, if not, does anyone know how to simply turn up the fish biting the bobber? The addon amplified this sound effect so I could watch TV while fishing easier.
i really want fishingbuddy for wow classic but no i cant find a working version
loved how it tracked what you caught and where
Yeah I thought it was a really popular addon but I guess not since there ain’t one
from FishingBuddy on curseforge

I am working on the Classic version. Unfortunately the 0.8.8f version (the last “classic” release) is written in a dialect of Lua far, far removed from the “new” Classic and the more recent version touch APIs that aren’t available in the “new” Classic system.
I am busy attempting to make the current version compatible instead of having to release a “FishingBuddy (Classic)” version – but it’s going to be a bit of work either way, please be patient

there is hope for us yet
Oh dude that’s awesome ty for that bit of research
Not sure if the developer who tries to make a compatible version is reading this forum post but i logged in just to give another Cheer to do…
looking forward to that WoW Classic fishing buddy add on support with all my heart.
Same as above logged in to show support and the want for this add on one of the ones i miss the most
I’m also chiming in for the sake of support, I love this addon in retail and it’d be a great addition to classic.
I just turn off music and ambience sound, thus the fishing bobber sound is pretty clear (no addons).
But it is also easier to track how many fish you already caught. : )
Sweet, since i did love fishing buddy as a whole and used it for 10yrs before stopping playing the game.
Now its back to classic, I am back and have tried the previos vanilla marked FB ones but as already stated none of them worked
I will of course go back to it but for now an add-on has been released called EasyFishingClassic, i do not know what its like as of yet.
Hello, I give my cheers and support on Fishing Buddy! Happy
I found this, is this it?
I don’t have any addon for it, but I go in sound settings and turn overall sound up, while disabling music and ambient sound, so I can easly hear when the fish bites.
Hope this helps
