Since Its exactly what i expected it would be. Not challenging raid logging. Like what did you expect would happen? It has been out for 15 years and everyone knew exactly how it would turn out. Yes there are some feral/ret buffs, HC++ but be honest who cares about those. It almost doesnt affect you. People didnt change that much actually even back then people were min maxing except Now since the game is 15 yo everything has been discovered already so its easier.

Youre acting like thats something new. I experienced that multiple times 10 years ago. My old guild web with hundreds of applications still exists. Today it simply has slightly more modern form cos its 2023.

Frankly, I prefer an hour long voice chat and linking my eightyupgrades and wcl to the 3 page application forms and cover letters you had to do in vanilla/tbc.

It’s not a perfect system but:

  1. People attend GDKPs as it’s widely accepted that they are the only way to reliably clear content in a stress free pug.

  2. Once you’ve got the gear from a raid, you have no reason to go back and do it again. The very few items, or sometimes even the single item, you need are contested vs 5+ people usually, you’ve got no control over the outcome.

  3. It typically has full player agency. You only win items with a winning bid, and you walk away with either gold or items.

Even the 20k it was onlaunch day was low compared to 3rd party.

Shocking blizz let it sink this low

Just create a hardcap that it can’t go below

Hey, I’m fine saving the sub money considering the last two months I bought tokens for around 7k each.

I make that just by raiding, some profession dailies and selling some random profession stuff.

Considering GDKP usually have better players then those of SR runs in pugs, yes.
Sadly its down to the enviroment, people dont play it the same way at “the higher levels” and thus sitting through a SR pug with… questionable… performance is usually not what most enjoy and thus they play in the same GDKP communities on their alts week in and week out, creating a higher quality experience.
Main issue: its still GDKP, so if your not spendin’ you aint gettin’ and most likely will have a harder time in the long run joining the same community.

GDKP have taken over 95% of the raids on golmagg Gehennas Ashbringer thx to blizzard sit on ther behind and wont banned it GDKP cna be seen as it is a place for alot of RMT ppl
and it can be placed under Boosting for som ppl that joins this GDKP runs was never ment to be inside a raid
and not hard to see that most of the player joins them buy gold from bots

did have a mate that did ask if he can join he didnt need any thing but he was pro at warrior doing top Dmg in all raids he is in and the reply was fuge you

just place in that if you do GDKP you get perm banned or make so you can’t trade more then 1k gold per day to other players

Someone can’t get into a guild because of bad attitude or play, and is salting that the pug raids won’t carry him for free.

GDKP is not bad, in theory, but these days it’s more like a boost than a raid where gold is like DKP points. What did the first GDKP raids look like?
Like a normal raid, with random people, and the items were bid with gold, finally, the POT was distributed equally to as many people as there were. But there was no PUMPERs and BUYERs like now. They checked if you are suitable for the raid, nowadays, if you are a buyer, you can go naked, as long as you have gold, in fact, here they want to sell everything in advance.
So as i said actually it’s not a GDKP these days, it’s a simple BOOST. Maybe there are exceptions, but most work like this.

i can cleary see you have no ide what the hell your talking about so just cuz blizzard can’t use the Top floor to see that alot of this GDKP are total RMT bot farm gold
som runs they sell items for over 70k for an HC item noone in the world farms that must gold
