Playing a 10 and on every single pull 5+ mobs in 10+ key in Siege this pally tank uses exactly ZERO cds. We wipe once. Okay crap happens. We wipe twice… and than third time. ZERO CDS POPPED. Zero. the Disc was holding tightly too his crap as well. I am nothing amazing. 2,5k rio healer and 2.4k DPS, but holy moly. It is cool, we limp forward with 17 deaths too first boss. The mage gets chased, oh well that is a dps loss, unlucky, but the bombs are out. This guy misses 3 bombs in row. Like for real… It is the first time I was the first person to rage quit(yes it was my own key I am DH, aint getting invites, yes I was top pumper, maybe that speaks volumes for the quality of the party? Nah jk damage was fine overall)
At this point gut pallies straight up coz if someone can get carried too to 2,6k RIO without cycling CDs something is definitely wrong.
I asked the pally to pop his CDs on pulls so he does not die. After we wiped the second time. I can not play the game for people thou, can I? I tried to throw in more stuns than usual as well with good timings.
Enjoy all those Protection Paladins after the upcoming class changes. They have all re-rolled to this spec because it is op right now, but have no idea how to play it. They will be a joy to be around after the nerfs have been activated.
While that is all true it is just unfortunately so a run is very dependent on the tank performance, even dps suffers when tanks have bad control. Too some extent this extend to healers as well by all means. Thou the only thing a dps can rly is insane dmg and that usually means crazy gear that is just no realistic for the content. Damage always scales with the smoothness of the tanking and coordination of things. Coz sadly we do not have screen wide dmg yet.
Bandwagoner tank-players have been flocking to Protadins because they keep reading online how OP they are - without realizing how pro-active and cautious you actually have to be or you will die. I bet the Protadin in the OP didn’t even bother to build up holy power and use SotR before engaging.
Sounds like OP got unlucky and ended up with one of these clueless players. Not much to do at that point sadly, if they haven’t learned by that point (a +10) they’ll never learn.
doesn’t look like ragequitting and getting bitter about it, as op did, is such a better alternative to me, but you do you, i prefer my liver intact and my cortisol levels below the average.
I mean, should he give them a tank/heal crash course in a +10 or what? How is that realistic?
blizzard current obsession is having every tank completely useless outside of cds so thats something you must learn to use quite well by m0 already, not to mention on 10s, where sometimes even the best efforts wont be enough (particularly when you have to blow them on unexpected things).
