Havoc DH requiring more skill than most other melees nowdays

Strange times isn’t it ?

Requiring a lot’s of skill like how to be super survival and at the same time to deal some damage like to play demon hunter right now it’s a challenge
I do talk about pvp havoc

Well yeah but not really

Isn’t WW like havoc on easy mode these days ? You got all the perks of havoc plus extras.

Just because you have no tools to live except, basically, mongo DPS doesn’t mean your class takes skill to play. Rather the opposite actually, as has always been the case.

Not really, WW survives the same way a DH does which aka is the only skill part DH has to pay attention to right now, their basic kit is still as simple as it gets

I feel like any class that can die in a stun through a defensive cd is skill intensive, especially if it also deals subpar damages.

You got all of havoc goodies: speed, incap and aoe stun

But also: slow, ring of peace, actual defensive, on demand self heals, teleport and some of the highest dmg in the game.

Basically WW = havoc with trianing wheels.

Maybe, just maybe because Havoc is merely a copy-paste of the Windwalker toolkit, except improved?

Imprison? A better Paralysis.
Chaos nova? A better leg sweep that deals damage.
Fel rush? A better chi torpedo that deals damage.
Except Chi Torpedo used to deal damage as well - they just removed it in Legion, when they introduced Demon Hunter.

The WW/DH dynamic will always be problematic. They’re the same class, so when one is good, the other will seem pointless in comparison since it brings nothing unique to the table.

Honestly, just delete Demon Hunters.
This abomination should have never seen the light of day.

Those two are the exact same spell.

Leg sweep is way better, it is free and the stuns last 3 seconds instead of only 2. Token damage on nova doesn’t compare, it’s only good for soul fragment generations in pve.

The two are actually quite different, fel rush deals token damage (ura) but it’s on the gcd unlike chi torpedo, which also gives you a movement boost.

Well if they are so similar and one had to be deleted it would make more sense to delete monks, dh has been an instant hit since it’s release while monk flopped so hard the sound of it flopping still echo from pandaland. One of their major character in their order halls was canonically dead lol, that’s how much blizz cares for that kung fu panda meme of a class.

These are just the usual DH haters here, nothing to care about really.

I’d say the effort to get high on a DH and play there compared to WW currently is massive.

But logical thinking is out of order for most of those extremely toxic and unhappy human beings.

I mean havoc is also probably more skill intensive than say arms warrior or sub rogues these days.

Arms ? Pop all your cds and use your millions disruptions while unloading on your target, literal smashing head on keyboard.

Sub rogue ? Master the art of sap/blind healer into stun kill target while yelling “big dam, big dam” in vc.

They were introduced as both lasting 5 seconds.

Nah, just stop right there.

DH is a noob class because of the easy rotation. Meanwhile there isnt one that takes a lot out of you to do extreme pressure the past decade.

Which isn’t the case today and wasn’t even back in bfa, are you going to talk about MoP monk to tell me how skill intensif Po wannabe class is today ?

U must be trolling if you would rather delete monks than dhs

Literally lost

Dh are far more popular than monks, nobody plays monk unless they are busted. So if one must go it makes more sense to delete monk business wise.

Its funny you talk about business when you have insane personal approaches in this thread.

Deleting any of these classes would make them lose money. Deleting monk or DH is still loss-loss business wise.

Gameplay wise is the only thing you could discuss theoretically.

This is called conditionnal.

Fortnite is more popular than WoW, garbage gangsta rap is more popular than Bach…

The least elaborate tends to be the most popular. And so, Demon Hunters are more popular than Monks.
I’d still delete the former.

Eating pizza is also more popular than eating rotten apples. Rhetoric 101.
