HC PTR login/download

Apparently HC PTR was to come out today. So I figured I would check it out. So I go to Battlenet and choose WoW Classic Era PTR. After a few min downloading it says playable. I click play, it takes quite a few minutes, but finally I get the intro. There is a new cutscene. It takes some time before I realize it’s the intro to Dragonflight. The 4 servers seems incompatible, wich makes sense since I haven’t bought Dragonflight. Also they want to install another 80GB on my PC. I still have the boxes from 2005, it says it require 4 GB of Harddrive space. Granted there have been quite a few patches, but I can’t see it being 20 times the original install, since it’s still vanilla, and even TBC says 10GB.
Why is the game trying to get me into Dragonflight or Dragonflight PTR, when I specifically clicked Wow classic Era PTR?

Anyone else have this problem? Alternative, have anyone successfully joined the HC PTR servers

The answer is simple my friend. They didnt manage to provide the correct link / game version so far.

I have not heard from a single person that it worked for them.

The PTR is just not there… it is just ANOTHER link to the Dragonflight PTR kinda awkward to announce Classic Era PTR without having it working…

They probably ment THEIR 29th. And I think they have their HC in California. When I tried it at 8 AM, it was still 111 pm on the 28th there. If it opens on 3am CA time, it should be noon on CET. 2 hours from now. I should try again then. Regardless, they should just not have the link if it’s not up yet, not just link it to Dragonflight PTR.
