HC: This needs to be added!

I’ve had an idea since learning about the official hardcore servers, and feel that it would be a great addition to the game without impacting game-play overall.

Blizzard should implement titles to server accounts based on goals reached.
For example:
Player reaches level 40 on X Hardcore Character = Unlock “Wayfinder” Title
Player Reaches level 50 on X Hardcore Character = Unlock “Juggernaut” Title
Player Reaches level 60 on X Hardcore Character = Unlock “Everliving” Title

These titles would be locked to your account and each new level 1 character would be able to /flex this new earned title, purely aesthetic but epic beyond doubt.

This could be the start of achievements being added to to server for dungeon kills, raid completes, world bosses etc.

tl;dr: Give account wide titles to players when they ding certain milestones and add achievements to boot.

Thank you so much for reading guys and I really really hope this becomes a reality!

There are no achievements in Classic.

Very true, however the Hardcore Addon added achievements which improved the experience a great deal. This can be done again on the Hardcore Server.

Titles, maybe one at max level, achievements, no.

Why do you think Achievements shouldn’t be added, purely to the Hardcore server?

Well, it’s classic Era basically and that doesn’t have them.

I see what you’re saying.

The Hardcore Challenge works much better when people can track their progress and each new milestone can be locked in to the account.

Players dying at level 20 have at least earned a title that doesn’t destroy the countless hours they’ve put in completely.

Did you not like the Achievements that were added on the Hardcore Addon? Did you use the Addon?

I thought they were brilliant, so many people running around tracking their progress. It added a flair to the game that I feel should be replicated on the Official Servers.

I thought doing hardcore using the addon was a waste of time, it’s so easy to cheat it.

I don’t think Era should have any achievements at all, the original didn’t. The old #nochanges argument.

Now we are getting official realms I might try it but I’m not going to waste my time on a PTR.

Edit: Isn’t it 15 hours /played to get to 20?

Okay… well, this Hardcore mode came from the Addon and Hardcore Community.

And this server is already making changes to the game, so the #nochanges argument is not applicable to this particular server.
The community and Blizzard are trying to enhance the enjoyment and longevity of this particular game mode, which is being made in Isolation to the non-hardcore mode.

I hope you try it out, the addon was super fun! <3

They’ve only changed a few things so I think it’s still applicable. It’s still at heart an Era realm

I don’t think they should be account wide. and 20 seems too low to earn a title, or maybe just something like “Junior”. then when you die and move to a normal era server, you can keep this title so it shows you were HC originally and kinda says what your peak was depending on the title.

Fairly certain if they add achievements to the classic vanilla client, itll even pop up on the normal Era servers and for future seasons of whatever they are doing with som, maybe not the achievements, but def the achievements icon on the miscellaneous bar.

I am for - but ONLY personal, not account bound - Every alt is a new jounrey.

That is an ADDON and is not made by Blizzard. So it is indeed correct that achievements does not exist in Era.

15 hours to get to 20 ??? Are you playing the game blindfolded ???

I don’t rush.

Hardcore addon is flawed and successfull hacking of it to remove death log and allow continue playing on Classic Era showed that. If hackers did that, why can’t they make any fake achievement marked as earned as well?

ANd in Vanilla ti was way more.
