Hello folks!
Being the expressive and artistic people you all are, no doubt most everyone on this server uses some form of communal, regimental, family or individual symbols. It could be a family crest, a clans war banner, a regimental honour standard or just a very personal symbol unique to you.
So, what are they?
I’ll start off, working from horde/alliance down to character in a “faction (or race)> guild > individual” format.
Horde (Orcish): Okiba proudly carries his own sashimono banner into battle displaying the Orcish horde symbol in black and red, the top support arm for the flag is held up by a broken spear, his old one from his om’riggor hunt which earned him his name if “Spearbreaker”. The flag itself is quite standard with no unusual qualitys, Okiba believing the emblem should and does speak for itself.
Guild: The Red blade crest! The tri-star of clan Red blade is a symbol of many stories and old myths, but likely traces itself back to the warlord ‘Githya Redblade’, who demanded that “no matter if you are strong, wise or cunning you will shed blood, yours in oath or a foes in battle!”, so three dagger like blades on a shield became his banner, one for each valued virtue, this changed gradually over time to become the modern emblem. The tri-star is typically always black on a dark (blood) red field, a display of the blood shed then and ever since for the clans cause. The clan is also synonymous with wolves, however that comes down to personal taste and patronage by particular spirits.

Individual: Okiba has adopted the image of the Redstaff family of Pandaren as his own. A red leaf on a field of bronze, this is displayed on his rope-belt buckle and in his scribe work as part of his signatures. The symbol is meant to elude to the teachings he embraced due to the familys help and guidance after his internment.
So, that’s my Orc. Hopefully you all have some interesting stuff to share too! I look forward to reading about them. And do feel free to post anything related that i may not of mentioned!
